Speculation by an Apple YouTube influencer.
IMHO: should form a consortium with Oracle and maybe Microsoft.
The iPhone-maker in recent months started to consider other options, assessing models developed by Tencent, ByteDance, Alibaba, as well as Deepseek, the report added.
Apple eventually passed over Deepseek’s models because the Deepseek team lacked the manpower and experience required to support a large customer like Apple, the report said.
Rumor that BABA is considering acquiring DeepSeek.
Rumor that Apple is partnering with TSLA? What is the deal?
So far,
Apple partners with OpenAI on AI in all except China.
Apple partners with BABA on AI in China.
Apple partners with Starling on Satellite texting.
Not selling???
P/E is a one year measurement. Market is thinking…
AAPL is a stable company making (fictitious, for easy understanding only), say for 5 years: $5, $5.1, $5.2, $5.3, $5.4, total $26.
NVDA earning is volatile, say for 5 years, $5, $6, $7, $2, $1 total $$21.
Public commentators keep bashing AAPL and envy of AAPL’s strength in this weak market. Despite all these bashing, AAPL retains it largest market cap company status.
UBS analysts stated on Monday that the price of the now-$1,199 iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple’s highest-end iPhone, could jump in the U.S. by as much as $350 in response to tariffs. The analysts predicted an almost 30% spike in iPhone prices overall, depending on where they were manufactured.
I have upgraded to iPhone 16 Pro last year.
Making iPhones in the U.S. is out of the question because the cost of manufacturing would be too high for Apple, and the supply chain logistics would be complicated, per The Journal. A U.S.-made iPhone would be triple the usual cost, as much as $3,500.
Trump has to up tariff to 300% before it is worthwhile to manufacture in USA. It would be lucrative to smuggle iPhone from Canada and Mexico to US. Tourists can also bring a few iPhones from their homeland for sale here, should be able to pay for their vacation expenses.
If he can get Apple products exempt from tariffs, I would view him as worthy as Steve Jobs.
Apples only hope is that Navarro gets fired. Trump’s management style is to give employees enough rope to hand themselves. Then if he wants to change direction he can fire them. Musk is already unhappy. I am guessing every American CEO is unhappy with tariffs. Only the autoworkers are happy. But they are too stupid to know that tariffs will hurt them also. Fortunately for Apple it looks like Trump is just playing a big con game with tariffs.
Unfortunately for the US economy the con game is destroying America’s credibility and will lead to economic uncertainty chaos and worldwide recession.
