AAPL and Apple

Most probably eat the tariff i.e. American businesses pay for the tariff. Thank Trump.
Please don’t vote for Trump!

I for one am not eating the tariff. I will pass it right on to Trump supporters.

You should’ve known better. You were supporting him all along. All this is your fault partially. You should regret your lack of judgement right now and cry.

• JPMorgan says Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) would need to raise iPhone prices by 14% to offset the costs of the new US-China tariffs.

• Bank of America Merrill Lynch thinks Apple would need to increase prices by 20% if it chooses to move manufacturing to the United States.

• But JPMorgan expects Apple to absorb the cost, which could lower the gross margin by 4%.

Whatever Apple chooses to do, less profit and hence less tax payable. Thank Trump :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Apple stock could jump by as much as 530%, despite Trump’s trade war on China

BTFD.

Trade war will go on for many years. Trump just slapped on a Cold War tech ban on top of that. Market underpriced that risks. More turbulence ahead.

Will AAPL sink below GOOG?

Project catalyst allows developers to have one code base for iOS, macOS and watchOS.

Queue up for Apple Card :grinning:

They are hyping privacy with Apple sign on too.

SJ didn’t want to do that as it is an unsaid invitation to hack. TC has different thought.

The question is how much do people care?

Big enough to be a market for Apple products is good enough :innocent:

Sign In with Apple will be available for beta testing this summer. It will be required as an option for users in apps that support third-party sign-in when it is commercially available later this year.

Maybe there’s a valid case of antitrust against Apple after all.

Sign in with Apple is optional, and only available if apps/ websites incorporate the feature. I would definitely use it if available, no need to bother with creating an account.

It’s not optional for iOS apps. That’s the rub.

Most iOS apps don’t need sign in. Where did you read this?

From Apple’s own guideline. For apps that support 3rd party sign-ins, they MUST also offer Apple sign in.

In other words is optional :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: you don’t have to sign in with Apple, can sign in with the third party that sell you.
