Maybe together with Apple glasses? Voice command + small screen is not enough to replace iPhones. I think most people buy apple watches for their health tracking features? That’s still a rather narrow use case.
That’s besides the point. Fitbit also sells 10s of millions units. My whole point is that watch is not a general device like a phone and therefore not as useful.
In the interim, use iPad mini. Bonus: Get to watch movies, blog and play video games on a bigger screen than iPhone. Can watch and blog using an Apple glass?
You mix around with old folks?
Go to the Apple Store and talk to the staff there. I don’t use any of the health tracking/ fitness features.
Can read Apple News, Toutiao, email…
Can use Apple Pay, Wallet e.g. Air ticket…
Can use Uber, Lyft…
Can use Apple Maps for navigation…
Many third-party apps.
Can do many things iPhone does.
Many tasks that can’t do or do as well as iPhone, iPad mini can do better than iPhone.
Did @manch read the article or just talking from his deep bias?
Mr. Williams has shown interest in products’ look and feel, they said, and helped steer the Apple Watch from being a fashion- and fitness-focused product tethered to the iPhone to one that boasts wireless connectivity and more health features, one of his priorities.
Williams understood what Apple stands for. High fashion for a few filthy rich is not Apple mission.
If not for Williams, Apple Watch would be priced at $17k, how many can afford that?
Never heard of Rosenblatt Securities, is it a sub of BRK?
When Steve is around, all the SVPs think they are geniuses, in reality no different from SVPs of any FAANMG.
You’re completely missing the point. The point is to get China to remove tariffs on US products, respect IP laws, and open industries where they’ve banned foreign competition.
Pre trade war, China had tariffs on more US products and higher tariff rates. They also banned access to certain industries.
More jobs are more jobs and people have more of a chance to move up from their current job. I think regulation reduction does more for Midwest jobs than anything else.
The strong growth momentum gives Apple the chance to accelerate diversification of production outside of China without necessarily reducing volumes there.
“It’s very likely that Apple will adopt the ‘China plus one’ strategy when it comes to diversification efforts,” said Chiu Shih-fang, a supply chain analyst at Taiwan Institute of Economic Research. That meant the company would increase production in countries outside China without reducing Chinese volume significantly at the start.
When I think about why I might give my kids a cell phone, it’ll be so I can know where they are (GPS via the Find My app), to send them quick text messages, and call them.
Using iMessage, select his name, click on Mac: details/ iPad: name then info, a map will be launched indicating his location. Maps can indicate your home, office and car’s location.
