I think that is why she hates Apple. You always have to upgrade. The Router is a year old and the phone is two years old.
Nothing to do with Apple. Standards keep changing, you can stay if you donāt want to have higher bandwidth and speed. The need to upgrade routers and cables apply for all brands.
Reliability of router is affected by ISP, you need to buy those certified to work well with your ISP.
I donāt know whether you have a pure router or a router + WAP or a gateway.
Apple canned their routers. Time to look for replacement. ![]()
Just buy UBNT router, since the CEO used to design the Apple router products.
Might be temporary. Display was canned and reappeared. Or buy UBNT when there is a new standard come up.
By the way, new ethernet cables and routers also have improved resistance to EMI and cross talk interference.
The display that costs $7k without a foot stand. For that you have to pay Apple another 1k.
Highway robbery.
Why do you need this type of display? They are not targeted at consumers who are price-sensitive. They are targeted at creative professionals which is a smaller group hence overhead per customer is higher than if targeted at consumers, hence higher price
If many consumers also buy these displays, price would drop substantially ![]()
I am just curious what those foot stands are made of. Gold?
Chat with that guy from LoveFrom. Donāt you love it?
That guy is behaving like early Apple, expect people to buy Anniversary Macs and Lisa.
That guy just designs it. Tim Apple sets the price.
Ive, who had helped design some of Appleās most memorable products, from the iPod to the Apple Watch, had been checked out of daily operations for a long time, according to the Journal. Ive grew disappointed by the more operational focus of top leadership under CEO Tim Cook, people who worked on Appleās design team told the Journal.
The Journal story paints a picture that Ive was largely checked out from his duties at Apple, skipping design meetings and spending time at his homes in San Francisco, Hawaii and the U.K.
ā¦when the markets closed on Tuesday, Apple was up 1.49% since the companyās surprise announcement. (Apple dropped less than 1% on the news and immediately recovered.) Apple shareholders have voted with their money, and Iveās departure has not sunk the stockā¦
Still donāt see the point of Apple Watch.
Steve Jobs stood on stage and told everybody what the iPad was. And then, the tech bloggers and newspaper reporters in the audience, unimpressed, sat around and complained. āImmediately afterward, the carping began,ā Baker wrote of the unveiling, in the New Yorker. āMeh, the iPad wasnāt magical at all, it was just a big iPhone, the journalists said.
Think of Apple Watch as a small iPhone ![]()
The thing is, a small iPhone isnāt all that useful.
Yes, itās not that useful and is a failed product. Itās failing right along side air pods. They are both so terrible theyād be a fortune 200 company on their own.
The problem is the iPhone is (was) so successful and profitable that it overshadows everything else. Air Pods and Watch are best in their class.
Gotta give respect to where respect is dueā¦
