AAPL and Apple

You have to wait a long time.

Apple is not a telecom provider  If he is talking about chip, that would be INTC and QCOM. Apple to design 5G chips?

I was not telling AAPL will go to $200, but it was an example that you (as Ray Dalio), holding current 150 Billion AAPL stock which you (Ray Dalio) bought in 1998 ! You are the only one I know apart from WQJ holding long positions.

If you (Ray Dalio) have doubt that AAPL may touch $200 in 3 months, what will you do?

You won’t sell AAPL stocks, (if sell, you will have big tax issues) but you can possibility buy AAPL put $200 in 3 months (Hedge against a fall).

I am not disputing or arguing you (Ray Dalio) are right or wrong. I am not arguing whether AAPL will go $200 or not.

This is beyond the scope of discussion.

BTW: Previously I used to argue with many people in this blog, but no more as I do not find time blog. I do not pick up any disputes/arguments…etc here. I am just hanging around, that is all.

Buy, buy, buy

Ives estimated Apple was on track to sell more than 65 million AirPods units this year and could potentially hit 90 million unit sales in 2020.

Wed bush said iPhone 11 demand was also rising for the holiday season and would put “more fuel in the stock” ahead of the anticipated 5G boom in 2020.

He maintained an outperform rating on the stock with a target price of $325 — the most bullish on Wall Street — based on the roaring success of the wireless devices.

While Apple and Microsoft have added 70% and 49% this year, respectively, the XLK technology ETF has gained 42%. Tech is the best-performing S&P 500 sector this year.

“I would go with both of them with the momentum. They are getting a little expensive relative to earnings, but I think their growth will be outpacing that expensiveness over the next stage,” said Bapis.

Their comments are consistent with EW interpretation. Low of day is $263.45, was expecting $260, may be 2mrw.

Now, you see why I did not buy AAPL? I had huge SPY PUTs just sold ($2.57-$2.76) everything today, most of them bought last week ($1.17) !

From now on, I will look at some AAPL bottom and buy it.

For trading, every day is a good time to buy or sell.
DCA purchasing approach doesn’t care about the price, just regularly buy at whatever price then.

Perfect statement, aimed at maximize returns, strike the deal when it is low.
Second, no FOMO as I always have some chance to get them at a later time.

YTD, AMZN and NFLX underperform S&P Index. Might be a good idea to buy for next year, right?

Updated EW preferred count.

@manch likes to have cheap thrill. Grow up :scream:

Buy Apple (AAPL) Stock on Analyst Optimism Heading into 2020?

Despite its iPhone sales troubles, the company looks poised to continue its top and bottom-line gains and sits at a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

The time for @manch to buy AAPL is over. Hold if he owns. Buy only if he has been/is using a DCA purchasing approach.

Typical account of an AAPL investor,

I got the latest Apple TV. I should have gotten a Roku. You can literally say the name of an app to install. It’ll display the name correctly on screen and tell you that it can’t find it. Then you have to use the trackpad to scroll and type in the app name. The Siri voice stuff is an epic failure.

ROKU is my 10x name. Streaming is so fragmented now it needs an integrator, and I think Roku is that integrator.

Roku means six in Japanese. For a moment, I thought is in Cantonese,六姑, 6th aunt.
Both Apple and Google did a bad job in streaming, ATV and Chromecast. Wonder what so great about Roku over TIVO and previous streaming devices.

ROKU is implemented in virtually all TV’s nowadays. It’s the de facto default.

Speaking of google I got a google speaker for free from Spotify. Unlike Siri, Google’s voice recognition NEVER fails.

That didn’t say anything why Roku is better. Are you saying Roku has a better go-to market strategy? A better business model? More hungry?
