AAPL and Apple

How can I be a Robinhooder when I don’t own a single share of TSLA and SHOP?

Actually, I take it back. Robinhood people like Apple more than Shopify. SHOP wasn’t even in their top 100.

Here’s the top 10:

I have some MSFT, so maybe I am a Robinhooder.

LOL: If you call me “delusional teenager”, what will you call the person who wrongly read my statement – {“You can not trade the way I do and I can hold the way you do”, we are in opposite extremes} – sold the stocks yesterday?

In stocks, there is no one solution that fits all. You have your own way and I have my own way, we are at extreme ends.

BTW: This is not a stock or financial advice. See I am forced to write this caveat - at every posting !!

@Jil reverts to 4x2 :slight_smile:

Haven’t sold UPRO  Trading in and out, $47.40 is recent buy.

Antitrust needs to crack down hard on Apple. No company should have that kind of rent seeking power on our economy.

By similar vein, no sales tax, no property tax and no income tax :grinning:

Looks like Apple is joining the August club of members like youtube, twitter, facebook, google, amazon etc.

I thought I said “no company”. Governments are not companies. We the people control them through our votes. If Apple is subject to democratic control like that then sure.

No taxation without representation.

Experts believe that huge opportunities lie ahead for India to become a manufacturing and export hub for handsets owing to the Indian government’s push. After the launch of the PLI scheme in April, OEMs are planning to set up production bases in India.

Have not been following this closely. India came up with a PLI scheme. Cheeky Modi.

Mac and iPad likely benefited from all the school closures and people working from homes. iPhone didn’t go up much at all.

IIT means visa to USA through IVY colleges, such as stanford, MIT, then form a company/ladder growth…etc, rarely they stay in India.

So the question is, will Macs and iPads continue growing at 20 and 30%? Or is it a one or two quarter wonder?

I saw some reports iphone sales is going up a lot in China after the price cuts. Maybe next quarter iphone will do better?

ipads no match, keeps growing, but do not know the % growth. Macs, mainly companies are buying with performance, look and feel…etc. Apple is sleek design, look & feel, long term battery life.

Not true. Before Covid ipad has been flat to down. There isn’t any innovation in ipad for years. The last big thing is the pencil.
