Chamath’s latest startup is coming out of stealth.

The Mountain View, California-based company has about 70 employees – less than a quarter of the engineers that a large chipmaker such as Intel would have designing a chip.

Another inference chip? Thought you say training chip where the real money is?

Do you think it’ll break out above? Did you buy options or shares?

Long calls.

Then I’d sell about to cover your cost basis and let the profit ride. I like the 10-day as a stop.

Nvidia kicked off the current streak of quarterly sales declines in its fourth quarter a year ago thanks to lost sales from a pullback in the cryptocurrency-mining craze, weak demand from China and a sudden decline in data-center sales growth.

“Nvidia has really become a software company,” Huang told analysts on the call.

Whether it is AI, data analytics or gaming graphics, “all of these platforms start from a really rich software, and you can’t just, you just can’t put a chip in these scenarios and they work, so most of our businesses are now highly software-rich and they address verticals that we focus on,” Huang said.

So 2mrw would break above upper channel or break down towards lower channel?
Note: Have closed NVDA position.

Time to jump back to PANW and NVDA?

Should I jump to MA, @caiguycaiguy favorite?

Yet to own CRM and ADBE :frowning:

Add at (iv)? $52 or higher (if wave (iii).5 is an extended fifth wave)?
@Jil EW for MU is pretty easy to identify.

Relative Strength appears overbought. That might be said of the entire sector, or even the entire market right now. The daily MACD looks very strong. A number of highly rated analysts have chimed in since last night, mostly positive, generally with target prices in between $56 and $70.

Normal fifth wave for (iii).[5] is $57. Normal range is $55 to $60. Extended is at least $68. So all of them could be right. I don’t know which is the likely possibility, I’m just an EW wannabe.

Two real outliers… Hans Mosesmann at Rosenblatt upped his target from 80 to 100, and Christopher Danely at Citigroup maintained his Sell rating, while bumping his target up from $35 to $38.

Hans is thinking of target of wave i. We are currently at wave i.(3).(iii), many more waves to go. Can agree is a hold till $80-$100  Ignore those noises along the way.

Short-Term Trade Idea (minimal lots)
- Sell Short 100 shares of MU at or close to the last sale of $54.35.
- Purchase one MU January 17th $60 call for a rough $0.40
- Sell (write) one MU January 17th $40 put for roughly $0.40

Author is assuming (iii).[5] was completed at $55.59 :), lowest possible target for (iii). So he is assuming today to next week would be in wave (iv). I think his last statement is meant to be $50 and not $40.

@Jil Note that all the targets mention by analysts are reflected in EW possibilities?

AI is entering prime time finally… NVDA is a must-own.

I wonder if it will be as “woke.” When ChatGPT is asked about crime rates among minorities it obfuscates. When it’s asked to write an essay about the benefits of fossil fuels it responds that it’s specifically programmed not to do that.

We have taken the lead back. The US government is also starving China of our leading edge AI chips to make sure China can never retake the lead.
