He is going to humble brag. I’ve never seen anyone who said a company is exactly like what it was 20 years ago. Those don’t exist. If companies don’t change with its growth, it will vanish.
That guy also hasn’t done anything in the last 20 years. The biggest achievement of his life is being Employee No.1 at Amazon, something he’s still milking 20 years after he quit.
Amazon closed out at $76 at the end of 1999. It then fell all the way to $7 at the depth of dot com bust. I am sure he felt pretty great back then.
Now it’s almost $2,200.
Sounds like a loser to me.
Those are the typical profile of guys that would bad mouth and hold bearish view about the company forever. Plenty of these type of guys for Apple even though they are hibernating now, they will come out whenever there is a hiccup, their last appearance is end 2018/ early 2019. Can’t even remember the death knell counter for AAPL, it has been so long since those guys hibernated.
Only work in high cost labor places. Kind of put a cap to minimum wage. Wonder which one is more cost effective for stores: Amazon way or self checkouts. Recently Costco introduces self checkouts.
Do people comfortable with cameras keep taking their videos? So you can’t scratch because you are on camera? Dress your best when going to stores?
Say the guy who con me into buying bitcoin at $20k🤯 how come silent on AAPL?
Btw, he has been saying AMZN would go to $3T like 3-5 years ago!!! Not buying AMZN from him, bought bitcoin at $20k for him is good enough lesson.
I wonder how bad that’ll hurt the profitability.
Going forward, have to wonder how Jeff Bezos deal with his private and public life. Can he do it?
AMZN is facing tough competitors for AWS, Demand fulfillment, e-commerce and Alexa.

After long time, I went to Amazon to search a book on Options. What a piece of JUNK amazon has become. I searched a book, and most of it returns are kindle book. Very few pages of the Books are now available for previewing. Expensive books are prominently displayed. I did not make any purchase.
If you know any good book on option let me now. Did not like what amazon search recommended.
Few books were mentioned previously.

Wow. The investment into that has been HUGE! It was a key part of the same-day and next-day delivery stuff announced last year that was a multi-billion dollar investment. I guess not enough people are buying those delivery vans to deliver packages for amazon. You can do it with your own vehicle too, but that’s not nearly as efficient.
