Apple bombed. Anyone buying?

Following example of @manch

beat on revenue, beat on EPS. but sold less phones (higher ASP on phone which explains beat on top and bottom). So of course stock had to tank AH

Hmm, @hanera just recently sold a lot of aapl shares. Did he hear some rumor?

I will take it! :dancer:

I think the worry is that Apple can’t keep on jacking up the price of iPhones. As the delta of features getting smaller and smaller between generations people will prolong their upgrade cycle. Higher prices certainly won’t help.

Grave dancer! :scream:

Uh oh.

I would assume they will still provide breakouts to market share reporting firms. So just a bit of financial engineering here. They want the street to look at revenue and profitability only (since they are doing well here) and not on unit ship (which i am guessing they are going to have fluctuations on). can see both pros and cons here, but feel market is overreacting to this news

Dropped below $1t. Drop to 200?

Apple is dragging down everybody.

Yah rally got stopped by Apple. The only one that beat topline and bottomline and who’s revenue growth actually accelerated. This is why I cannot be a financial professional

The curent tech cycle is over. South Bay will rank

This could be like 2001 when Silicon Valley hurts badly but the other parts of the country is doing fine.

What saved SV last time was net2.0 such as google, Fb, and mobile such as aapl.

What do we have for the next tech cycle?

In 10 years, Apple will be like Dell, Google will be like Yahoo, Salesforce will be like ibm. What would become the next google and Facebook?

This is today’s news article. Answers your question about Silicon Valley.

Whatever. Your fate already sealed near term with weakness in both Amzn and fb.

Has Manch sold his stocks yet? As a short term trader, he should sell quickly to avoid fire.

Long term holders can sit tight or take a 5 year vacation from stocks. It’s going to be heart broken on half the days :disappointed_relieved:

5 years. You have just announced the next recession

I like how you are telling Screamer-in-Chief what to do when you are not even a stock believer.

I am waiting for the narrative for Apple to change. Looks like it’s about to happen! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
