Asia Pacific Stocks

Tell me you don’t know anything about China (or California for that matter) without telling me you don’t know anything.

Yeah, thousands of Chinese are risking their lives crossing the Darien Gap every single month, trying to come to the US illegally. Many of them even settle in California. Why don’t you go tell them here is just as bad as China.

You seem to always prove that you completely miss the point. I don’t have the energy to explain things again.

I am worried about your ignorance. If you think sincerely that anywhere in the US is less free than China you got some big blind spot.

It’s not about scoring points on an anonymous forum. It’s about some basic understanding of the world.

You mean I didn’t know SenseTime before?

Actually I saw many Chinese people cheered on the death of Tang. He’s a big part of China’s surveillance state.

If that’s what you get from reading that, then there’s zero point.

And in response:

Adam Khoo is scared by @manch. However, putting people over harmful business (e.g. video gaming) is good for the country.

Master is not worried.

Sad to see one fewer bag holders from Singapore.

I agree. Xi should just outright ban video games.

While he’s at it, he should ban all sorts of other things like cosmetics, luxury goods, TV shows, movies, etc. Chinese should just study and work hard. Entertainments are evil distractions.

.

Already at it. Many advisory policies and a revamped approval system for movies, tv shows and games. Guess you have forgotten what happened over the last few years.

However, don’t overstate it… the goal is to reduce excessive flouting. When dealing with issues, CCP approach is to start with draconian measure and adjust. Quite different from Singapore approach of gradually increase the intensity or US approach of inaction. However, China is similar to Singapore in that government runs the nation. Some nations are run by powerful businesses/ cartel.

Bear in mind, 修身 (self-mastery) before other (齐家治国). Current generation needs help from government for 修身(self-mastery).

Is this Long Investor another naive boy from Singapore?

Ever wonder how come it’s so easy to develop chips that “rivals” Nvidia’s? Tesla had one, now NIO has one? Jensen should be shaking in his boots. Any random car company now develops chips that rivals what he has spent his life creating.

Silly those other chip companies like Broadcom and Qualcomm. It’s so easy to be an AI company rivaling Nvidia they are so dumb not pursuing it.

No. He is an ex-Hong Konger :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: American.

Making stuff up again?

BTW where is the proof the HS dropout kid has over 10M? The screenshots you posted has like 1.6M in his account?

Does this guy even know ByteDance (the company that owns TikTok) is a private company?

And PDD (who owns Temu) is actually performing well? PE is 33. Not 10.

So 2 items out 3 this guy has no clue what he’s talking about. Can you post things from people who actually knows a thing or two about China?

.

Read up his tweets yourself. It was mentioned in one of his tweets. The screenshots show only his public account. He didn’t show his “private” accounts.

OK. BTW the easiest way to get to a billion dollars is fraud. Like claiming he trades like a God and have naive people give him free money to trade.

Looks like he’s well on his way.
