Bitcoin's 10 trillion dollar valuation is fast approaching

How much Tesla did you buy?. I have been trading it and making some money. Just didn’t drink the koolaid

The issue is not about me, is your attitude towards those instruments.

It is your interpretation of my attitude. Thus is a RE forum. Stock gambling is high risk. Most will loose.
The SEC should reduce risks so that these high risk instruments don’t tank the economy the way risky mortgages did in 2005

Investing in speculative asset is fine if one know when to enter ( right before the hype starts pushing the price up) and when to exit ( before buyers start realizing it ain’t keep rising) .

That is true of BA real estate too. With 39 million as upper limit on the CA population, how much more real estate one can speculate on before triggering a crash?

Who says Ca population is limited to 39m?. Besides there is housing for only 36m currently. Let alone room for a population increase.

Historic trend is telling 39 million is upper limit, give and take. The population of state has actually for first time declined in last 100 years. It is going to loose a Congressional seat. And also, it also has lost a reputation of being a well run state. Upper cap is set by availability of natural resources like land and water. The confiscatory state only makes it worse.

Since bitcoin is so volatile, it is advisable to set stop loss to avoid huge trade loss. I have no doubt bitcoin and Ethereum will be the future of money.

I didn’t like the tape and price action. I ended up taking profit for most of my crypto holdings around btc 50k. This dude might be right. We might be done with this supercycle. Either case, I’ll buy back if btc passes 52k and also again at 65k.

No banning. China’s loss is our gain.

@manch graduated to an EW fan.

I would label differently from Knox.

Broke $52k, are you going back in?

Ofc. I’m already back in. Bought a lot more altcoins too more than usual. Things need to close nicely today though. Loaded up with GBTC in retirement account since it’s much lower than NAV.

I’m still extremely cautious with bitcoin/crypto. Take a look at this chart from 2017 supercycle. It looks very similar and we might be in a fake-out rally. I’m very bullish long term but don’t want to be stuck with dead money for the next 2-3 years.

ETHE and GBTC down in an all things rally market.

Cool off is expected and ETHE sort of sometimes move on its own beat. Ethereum, the coin, is fine and I would expect some bullish move toward eoy due to chatter about proof of stake change.

@pastora what is your take on Algorand?

I don’t know much about it other than what you can google out of it. It’s one of my 4 altcoin holdings though: ethereum, algo, chainlink, sol and cardano.
