Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

“With sourcing and context missing from nearly all of the #FilmYourHospital content, the videos are likely to add to the polluted information environment that has plagued the coronavirus outbreak so far.”
A hilarious statement coming from NBC.
The two narratives aren’t really competing. Outside hot spots things are calm. And people rushing to hospitals to get treated for COVID-19 doesn’t mean they actually have it.
And do Democrats seek to maximize damage? Of course they do. That’s what they’ve been doing for the start - including organs of the party like NBC.

Emotional Quotient is just as important as Intelligence Quotient. All people who lack a high emotional quotient can suffer from confirmation bias and motivated reasoning. In a plane English, people arrive at a conclusion through a complex process that involves the emotions and feeling and then use logic and objective data to support their claim. Those who think in group suffer even more because they look up to the leader of the pack to tell them what to believe,

This site has now added a regression feature, on all (country, state and county) levels.
They display the number of days to double. I have not seen this analysis elsewhere.

For US, it shows doubling every 3.7 days
For California, every 4.0 days
Santa Cruz - 6.3 days
Santa Clara - 6.0 days

We get some pretty graphics today. 1,453 processed (I’m guessing 3/30 only and 0 on 3/29 since they took Sunday off) and 1,169 of them are positives. That’s 80.5% :scream_cat::

As of March 30, approximately 86,100+* tests had been conducted in California. At least 28,704 results have been received and another 57,400 are pending. These numbers include data California has received from commercial, private and academic labs, including Quest, LabCorp, Kaiser, University of California and Stanford, and the 22 state and county health labs currently testing.

***This week’s cumulative testing numbers are lower than last week due to an inadvertent over-reporting error discovered by one of the private labs.

California now has 6,932 confirmed cases and 150 deaths.

Sort of like the war video that was. Kentucky gun range.

Yeah, and people complain non-stop about Fox News and pretend NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN and legit and unbiased. They are all becoming as reliable as Breitbart.

Peer reviews are useless when all your peers are funded by the same causes to reach the same conclusion. No one would dare dissent for fear of ending all of their funding.

Freon was banned based on a theoretical paper that said it could react with a Ozone and destroy it. No one even did a lab experiment let alone a real-world experiment. Yet we were all told it was an evil that needed to be stopped.

We are always being sold fear, because it sells. News organizations know fear headlines far outsell happy stories. It also convinces us we need the government to protect us from all the scary things. We are the frog in water giving away rights one by one.

No one even bats an eye when patriot act is extended. We’re never given an proof that it’s effective or a list of events it prevented. We’re just told we still need it and expected to blindly follow along.
