Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

The issue is that the CDC started out by saying it was useless. Americans want to believe that their “experts” are infallible. So to have the CDC say it’s useless and then say it’s useful means that our experts have no clue wth they’re doing, and we’re all in trouble. And that’s a reality Americans don’t want to have to face.

If the CDC had started by saying “Wear a mask”, everyone would be doing it no question.

Great. I don’t need to watch CNN from here on out.

On a different thought… I can’t find the article again, but I think someone posted about Vitamin D reducing CV-19 susceptibility.

One problem with the SIP is that people are not out in the sun as much, especially with parks and beaches closed. Since Vitamin D primarily comes from the skin in sunlight during the hours of 11am-3pm, that means that people will have lower Vitamin D levels. Food supplementation via milk may be woefully inadequate plus absorption through the gut is lower.

What this means is that if Vitamin D is protective, the SIP may actually cause the pandemic to go through the summer when it would otherwise have died out. Especially if kids aren’t getting out onto the playground during lunch and families aren’t going out camping or to the beach.

Eldorado County Stage II
Clear as mud. Well at least the homeless are taken care of. Government doing what it does best. 22 pages of mind numbing crap.
Where is the info we care about? Marinas, golf courses, restaurants, hairdressers open or not?

Some restaurants are using mannequins so they don’t look empty. Looks creepy to me but maybe you have to be there.

AZ was kinda this way. People just threw up their hands and opened up. I think that’s the idea. The politicos just want cover if infection rates spike.

We have to call friends and look on next door to find out what is open. Trump handed off Rona response responsibilities to the Governors. The governors to the counties. Our sheriff is looking the other way. The reopening is coming with a whimper not a bang.

I very much doubt that. What those people are saying is that masks impinge on their freedom and the pandemic is a hoax or a conspiracy.

Besides, thinking anyone is infallible itself is highly irrational.

I thought it meant piece of cake :sunglasses:

Oh Fitbit. Today, they announce they are going to make emergency ventilators for a Covid-19. Um, you’re a bit late.

They should be making N95 masks.

Here is quick solution for social distancing. If someone gets to close spray this. Will clear a room in seconds

The stench of Liquid Ass is most aptly compared to that of the essence of a mayonnaise factory waste room where someone dipped bone char into crude oil and let a cat fart on it.

ALL EYES ON GILEAD

Emergency approval of the antiviral drug remdesivir is the first good news of this pandemic. This is how Gilead Sciences prepared for the moment.
