Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

@manch do selective analysis. Did Belgium and Switzerland do SIP?

We’ve got that flag and three more plus the hats, mugs and beer sleeves at the party headquarters in Payson. Open 10-4 weekdays. The Dems down the street are still hiding under rocks somewhere while we raise money and get voters registered.

Science is apparently not sure that the antibody tests are accurate either.

I wish this whole thing would bring on a discussion about boosting the immune system so that we can better weather an illness rather than avoiding it, but people would prefer to have their soda and cupcakes, shelter in place, and hope for a vaccine to save them.

You need to take off the lenses you’re wearing to see the world. Way more people than right-wingers have been refusing to social distance and refusing to wear a mask. Statistlically, all those people waiting in lines in NYC for bars couldn’t possibly all be Trump supporters…

Workplaces after coronavirus. Open Plan offices are here to stay.

USA has 5134 cases per million and 301 deaths per million.
Singapore has higher at 5467 cases per million yet low 4 deaths per million.

Other than difference in immune system, no good reason for the huge difference number of deaths per million.

Median age USA 38.2 years, Singapore 42.2 years.

With the latest data from the NHANES showing that 39.6 percent of adults and 18.5 percent of children ages 2 to 19 in America have obesity , the State of Obesity report noted that “these are the highest rates ever documented by NHANES.”

The State of Obesity in Singapore . Singapore has the second-highest overweight prevalence in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) – at 32.8 per cent, according to 2014 age-standardised adjusted estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Since last Tuesday, Alameda County also has become the hardest hit county in the Bay Area, in terms of the total number of COVID-19 cases, according to data compiled by this news organization. Alameda County public health officials reported Monday that 2,874 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, with 26 new cases reported from the day before.

Alameda County also has recorded 93 fatalities from coronavirus, with an additional death reported on Saturday. In Alameda County, 88 people are hospitalized for COVID-19, with 44 of those patients in intensive-care units.

Well Gila Co., AZ is full of old fat people. So far no one has died from the Coronavirus.
Of course, with the Memorial Weekend deluge of people from Maricopa Co. - a number so far in excess of the local population that cell phone calls have been problematic here since Friday - things may change. Or not. We never locked down when we were supposed to. This weekend, with lockdowns lifted, we all stayed home. The streets were jammed and the Safeway stripped of everything anyhow.

Wonder if it would work on Covid too.

Good for me. Most of my tenants are low wage. Most have no bank accounts. Pay cash.
Could get ugly in a few months. Need to get small business back in business.
