Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

@manch This is why your graph is garbage. Feel free to refute with science or statistical methods why the graph is actually valid.

Since when did CDC include serological tests? How many are included? How do you know my chart uses data from the CDC? Sites like https://covidtracking.com/ sources data from individual states and counties.

There are always differences in methodologies and the actual tests that are given. It doesn’t detract from the big picture that our situation is steadily getting worse, and that for most of Europe it’s mostly over, except for some herd immunity nut jobs like UK and Sweden.

You don’t need to trust any data if you are that paranoid. Just look at where Apple chooses to close and open their stores. Let’s see if Disney will reopen their park in Florida. They already said they will postpone the reopening in California.

This election was an easy win for Biden till someone in the left decided it is time to pull the statue of Ulysses Grant down.

You’re asking information that’s readily available, and you could easily find if you actually cared about the truth.

The situation isn’t getting worse if we’re adding people with prior exposure who never had symptoms to the active cases. We are over stating the number of active cases, since the anti body positives aren’t active cases. As the number of antibody tests increase the graph will only get worse. Especially since we know there were far more asymptomatic cases then symptomatic ones.

The looney left has always been self destructive. In 1968 they helped Nixon win. In 2000 lefty Nader helped Bush in Florida. In 2016 Berners got Trump elected. At least Bernie has kept quiet so far since Biden won out. Wait till Biden picks a running mate. No matter what the leftist nut jobs will complain.

Arizona with its 23% positive rate.

CDC: Coronavirus Has Infected 10 Times More People Than Previously Thought

https://www.usnews.com/news/health-news/articles/2020-06-25/cdc-coronavirus-has-infected-10-times-more-people-than-previously-thought

CDC Director Robert Redfield said that 20 million people, or 5-8% of the population, have been infected.

:scream:

No way. Some people have been saying that for months. That means fatality rate is far far lower than originally thought. It also means the number of positive tests will increase faster the more antibody testing there is. That doesn’t mean there’s more active cases, or that it’s spreading faster.

University of Arizona created 250k antibody tests, and they are available at Walgeens drive thru. The antibody is becoming widely available, so more and more people are taking it.

Very on brand for the anti-science party.

“Eventually, we’ll all know the shoddy truth of how a conspiracy theory pushed by this administration led @NIHDirector to block the only US research group still working in China to analyze COVID origins,” he wrote.

Scientists, meanwhile, have roundly refuted claims that the WIV was the source of the new coronavirus, noting that natural spillover from animals is the most likely source.

Wrong answer  Not an outcome prefers by Peter Navarro, so cancel funding. Is CIA funding reduce too?

CA +5,069 on Thursday

Based on current data:
CA doubling in 31 days.
TX doubling in 18 days.
NY doubling in 398 days.
NJ doubling in 338 days.

…And everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten that Joe Biden voted to restore Robert E. Lee’s citizenship.
Maybe Joe has forgotten as well.

It’s a wonderful statistic if true. It would mean that over 1 million Arizonans have been exposed.
And how many of those have gotten seriously ill?

Yawn. We don’t even differentiate between active case, and someone who had it in the past anymore. They group both types of tests together and report the total as how many are positive. It’s not even a measure of how many active infections there are.

Number of deaths per mil and percentage of hospital beds utilization are more relevant to laymen (lay people?)

I am wondering, if I was infected in Feb and recovered, and again infected today, count as 1 or 2 confirmed cases?
