Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

He looks real healthy.

Age 51, Overweight and Diabetes => leads less immunity. COVID-19 adds more issues with lungs & respiratory systems, results breathing trouble.

Fake News?

Do people who catch coronavirus die the next day? I have heard it takes 14 days for the virus to incubate, and still only kills less than 1%.
Either the person above was already infected for two weeks, then attending the party a day before was not the cause of the death.
Or the person died of some other cause.

People with diabetes are always at a high risk of dying. Especially when overweight. This poor guy should have stopped eating carbs and partying 20 years…
A good friend and my cousin both died young from Type 1 diabetes. At least type 2 is preventable and curable.
My best friends mom died at 90 in an Orange County rest home. Covid19 was blamed but she had been ill for years.

Isn’t his statement a sarcasm?

Not sure what the diabetes blaming is all about. This guy was alive before he got Covid and dead after. That’s all we need to know. Covid kills him.

Trump got what he promised us.

The problem is that story is written with a tone to create a generalization. That is wrong, lie and disagrees with observed data.

My dad looked forward to dying, he had been in ill health for three years even though the was the flu and then that pneumonia finally took him. Same with my friends Mom. Covid19 was a blessing for her. Americans obsession with keeping everyone alive will kill the economy and all the rest of us.
Covid19 is like a wolf in a herd of sheep. Only kills the old, weak and sick.

Yes it was. I guessed by the picture before I even read the article.

@hanera, you understood that my mind works like computer, not inferring the implied messages…

Awesome. Biden landslide looking increasingly likely. Licking my lips. “Get ready to die” doesn’t look like a winning campaign strategy does it?

‘We need to live with it’: White House readies new message for the nation on coronavirus

There is an old saying. “What cannot be cured, must be endured”. And for those infected with coronavirus situation not that dire because the virus is not a threat to most people. The following lines from the link above summarize the White House strategy (if indeed this is the strategy WH is going to take):

Officials also plan to emphasize high survival rates, particularly for Americans who are within certain age groups and don’t have underlying conditions. The overall death rate from COVID-19 in the U.S. has been on the decline. More than 130,000 Americans have died of the virus.

Is why I call you 4x2 :hugs: you have to interpret a statement by its context which include the blogger knowledge and intelligence

both, Inferring context of a message to understand a message, and interpret a statement purely in terms of what is said , can be right or wrong. Interpolating (filling a message with missing information) can lead to useful or wasteful conclusion.

hydroxychloroquine continues to be in the news.

A team at Henry Ford Health System in southeast Michigan said Thursday their study of 2,541 hospitalized patients found that those given hydroxychloroquine were much less likely to die.

Dr. Marcus Zervos, division head of infectious disease for Henry Ford Health System, said 26% of those not given hydroxychloroquine died, compared to 13% of those who got the drug. The team looked back at everyone treated in the hospital system since the first patient in March.

So you’re excited about paying higher taxes and higher corporate taxes causing the stock market to decline?

Are you predicting stock market will decline under Biden? Planning to sell everything if Biden wins?

Taxes are not the most important deciding factor whether an economy will do well or not. Long term stock market tracks the economy.

Presently, USA is just above the lowest corp tax rate in developed countries. Companies are attracted to bring the money elsewhere to USA to do business and pay tax with corp 21%.

If it is increased, all these honeybees fly away from USA and start in other countries.
Remember AAPL brought 200B from UK to USA. If tax is increase they will resume the old practice.
Increasing corp tax in USA is going to be blunder and that Biden Camp never get that point.

This was an excellent idea brought by Trump (as he is from corp background). If money flows out, naturally economy and stock goes down.
