SF school district sent out an email this morning saying all classes will be online this fall. Pressure is on for other Bay Area districts to follow. No way any BA schools will reopen physically this fall.
Cupertino too. I wonder if their schools performance craps out will property values follow.

Hmm, it appears deaths arenāt spiking the same way positive cases are. Thatās surprising considering the window of symptoms to death is pretty short for people who die.
Weāre now doing more than 3x the testing vs 90 days ago. No wonder we are finding way more cases. Especially since the 80% of asymptomatic cases werenāt tested before. Now those people are getting tested if they live with someone who tests positive or are going to have a medical procedure.
People are hysterical about the increase in cases but why?
I agree case count isnāt important, only death rate. The fact that cases are increasing shouldnāt really be a surprise unless death rate is reflecting same growth - I know itās somewhat delayed but I still feel like you would have seen something by now. Some areas are obviously worse than others though so the average of all states isnāt really indicative of what is happening everywhere.

Yes, thatās why I think county level data is really important. Some counties arenāt even seeing a spike. My mom lives in Florida where itās all smaller towns, and thereās no spike there. Others look like a TSLA stock chart.

All Alameda county is the same, they announced it last week. Every school districts in Santa Clara country except Palo Alto & Los Altos are fully online to start the school year with. PA & LA are doing online option and hybrid (at least for now) to choose from.
Interesting. These districts must be really loaded. You are really doing double the amount of work. How come the teachers union went along with it?
Thatās what I am wondering and worry that this two district might also have to revert to online only.
It is quite frustrating that in the same city, Private schools are opening, but public schools are political fight 
Did facebook reopen its office? How many went back? Did you go back?
Actually it is hospitalization rates we should be looking at. Many people hospitalized never regain their former healtlh.
