Tell Fauci who didn’t wear one at the baseball game. Sorry, he wore it around his neck. I guess he technically wore one but in an ineffective way.

Masks are a fashion statement. It’s the thought that counts :sunglasses:

The last graph means America is screwed. The majority can only view the world as one party is good and the other is bad. The actual actions aren’t judged on their own merits.

I can’t remember who did the video where they read Bernie quotes at a Bernie rally. However, they attributed the quote to Trump. Of course, people were immediately against the idea, called it racist, etc. Then they were told Bernie actually said it. Surprise, they did a total 180 about what a great idea it was. That’s the level of emotional intelligence in this country.

I’m sure you could do the same with claiming a Trump quote was said by Biden. It’s a total embarrassment for the country.

This has always been true. Nothing new. All party loyalists on both sides are sheep.

Where/per_seat difference between Democrats and Republicans is small such that the independents can sway it, the independents become key. They are not sheep unlike the rest.

Point is I usually ignore the party loyalists views on both sides.

I think loyalist used to be more moderate. That or the extremes have gotten so loud that they seem bigger than they really are.

I voted for Clinton (Bill that is), and I honestly can’t imagine voting for anyone the democrats put forward today. Bill Clinton wouldn’t even stand a chance at the nomination today and is closer to what’s today a republican. Can you imagine a Democrat pushing the welfare reform that a Clinton signed or lowering the capital gains tax? The first would be considered racist, and the second would be considered stealing from the poor to give to the rich.

and Trump is close to what a Republican used to be? I don’t think so.

Yeah Bernie dropped out after Obama+DNC negotiated that Bernie’s issues will be adopted by Biden. Hence, you see all these left extremists and their issues now with Biden.

That hapenned of course after Bernie was suddenly knee capped earlier by DNC+Obama by negotiating with the other candidates(people like Buttigieg, Klobuchar) to suddenly drop out forcing most primary democrats to favor Biden and than pitting Biden against Sanders.

Trump and Bernie are both a result of people being fed up with both parties. Trump has pissed off both parties with plenty of moves. If republicans thought they could beat him in a primary, they’d challenge him.

The media narrative is completely ignorant and biased. Over 90% of media donations go to democrats. Those people don’t suddenly forget about which party they support when they write articles. The Wikileaks showed how blatant the Hillary campaign was in collaboration with MSM.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/3100-inmates-to-be-released-as-trump-administration-implements-criminal-justice-reform/2019/07/19/7ed0daf6-a9a4-11e9-a3a6-ab670962db05_story.html

That doesn’t really fit with the whole racist narrative yet those are the actions. How much media coverage do they get vs all the negative headlines?

Interesting. pot calling the kettle black?

Check this out.

EVIL

“Like the federal proposal, the state laws generally allow lawsuits only in cases of “gross negligence or willful misconduct,” and requires that plaintiffs show the defendant’s fault by “by clear and convincing evidence.””

So all it seems to do is align federal law with state laws. I guess states are evil too?

The other provision seem reasonable. If you’re going to sue your employer for getting Covid, then you should have to prove you didn’t get it somewhere else. If not, let’s just have a huge party for amazon warehouse employees then sue amazon for billions.

Trial lawyers are one of the largest supporters of the Democratic Party. I can understand why they might not like this.

Finally. $100 fine in Fremont if you get caught not wearing masks in public.

54% increase in France last week.
There’s no winning strategy. As some regions bounce up, others bounce down and then it reverses. We’re just going to have to learn to live with this like pneumonia, cancer and everything else. The sooner we all move on from panic the better.

What we need is stats on the over all death rate. Since people aren’t driving and staying home, there must be less deaths due to car accidents, flu, accidents and travel related deaths.
Looks like fear of going to the doctor may be the biggest cause of death increases
