And now with people like the above flouting the directives, the US could move to a police state, and itâs going to be a whole new, possibly brutal, world that weâre not used to. The Chinese understand where the boundaries are because theyâve lived in it for years. Sucks, but they know what they can and canât do. But in the US, we havenât had to deal with this. How hard will the police push? How many riots will there be? How many innocent deaths because the police canât tell the difference between the young adult who needs food for her baby and the young adult who is indifferent to the rules?
