I saw another where someone was arguing the government is evil, oppressive, racist, and all the SJW talking points. They were arguing for socialism. Someone asked how they can support giving the government more control when it’s oppressive and racist. The anger was hilarious.

Hawley grilled Mayorkas about all of it. The border is essentially open. They are set free with a promise to make an appointment with immigration court. He asked how many are interviewed. He asked how many are deported based on the interview. Mayorkas refused to answer and tried to redirect every time.
All I can take from it is democrats want open borders and support it. That’s why they didn’t vote to impeach. They’re apparently ok with the sex trafficking, child trafficking, and fentanyl. They’ve lost touch with reality, since a vast majorly disapprove of the open border situation. The sentiment has shifted now that it’s impacting liberal cities in negative ways.
I’m curious if it can be considered treason.
I’m hoping people get angry enough that democrats have to pivot or not get elected.
The Senate compromise would allow. 5000 illegals a day. More than 1.5 million a year. Most legal immigrants I know are against it. They worked hard paid the fees and followed the rules. The illegals are jumping the line. Just like jumping the queue at a the movies… time to stop it…

The $118B “border security bill” would have dedicated less than $1B to wall construction. It’s more about funding lawyers to help illegals. Politicians really do rely on people reacting emotionally to headlines and never looking deeper. They want to say they passed a $118B bill to address the problem, so they can claim it’s not their fault when it’s not fixed.

It’s amazing that with 300M+ people this is the best we have. Ok, it everyone can is eligible due to age and being a natural citizen. Maybe there’s 150M who could run. It’s insane.
There’s a reason the founders wanted a small federal government with limited power. I’m not sure how we can wind it down now though. Any meaningful cuts will anger some voting base.
The FBI ran 280k unauthorized queries against citizens. It was characterized as a clerical error. No one was fired over it. They couldn’t even say people were punished for it. Just that they added procedures to prevent it in the future. We’re supposed to believe that?
The lying to get a FISA warrant on Carter Paige? That investigation is “ongoing” with no one punished for it yet.
This isn’t conspiracy theory. This is directly from FBI testimony to Congress. The FBI and DOJ are political entities with their own agenda (heavily favoring democrats). At this point, denying it is a sign of mental illness.

Of course, considering executive action as a solution means the problem is due to Biden’s previous actions. It’s not because of anything Congress did or didn’t do.
