Daly City Rocking The Overbids

How much do you expect Lakewood Dr would fetch? Isn’t it listed too low?

They listed too low. It’s hard to get 350k over asking in Daly City. And this house is located where there is the smell too

What smell? Never smell anything in DC…

153 Lake Merced Blvd
Daly City, CA 94015

Water treatment plant there

I don’t think you can smell it at 41 Lakewood - it’s a bit too far. The odor is only present around 7pm within two blocks surrounding the plant.

HUGE overbid:

Good for the seller

My sister in law did the staging. My wife asked me if we should buy it I said nah. It’s not going to sell for anywhere close to asking. Glad to say I was right.

Haha, you got that right. By any chance do you know how heat up the competition? Or is it one crazy buyer with lots of money?

No idea. Let me ask around…

I was wrong. I think it’s one of the few 400k + overbids in Daly City .

Another one, not too far from the other one: https://www.redfin.com/CA/Daly-City/32-Fairlawn-Ct-94015/home/545210

It’s depressing even DC has gotten so hot…

Not depressing at all. Closer to my target to 1031 Exchange goals faster

No kidding, the staging is beautiful. She really has the taste. That is the reason it sold that high. I will find her to stage mine if I ever sell .

Is Daly City the hottest market today? South Bay is still sluggish

Does this indicate a shift in definition of fortress due to a shift in where new money is being minted? Cupertino, Sunnyvale becoming less important while Daly City and San Mateo gain prominence?
