DNC: future of the Democratic Party

DNC chairman Tom Perz says that the future of Democratic Party is, Alexandria Pcasio-Cortez?

Tom Perez was Ivy educated (Harvard and Brown) and served as secretary of labor for Obama.

Tom Perez was Ivy educated and served as secretary of labor for Obama.

“Thomas Edward Perez (born October 7, 1961) is an American Democratic Party politician and attorney who was elected chairman of the Democratic National Committee in February 2017. Perez also served as the United States Secretary of Labor from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that he worked as a consumer advocate and civil rights attorney before serving as the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights.”

So the DNC’s future is socialism?

DNC chairman says that the Democratic Party’s future is socialism. Not sure if DNC chairman can represent his party, migh be a spy from GOP

That’s a dark future. She’s already been busted lying about growing up in the Bronx. She grew up in the suburbs. She had to modify her bio. Also, she used to own a small business. She was agaisnt some of the business taxes. Since she failed, now she thinks socialism is great. She’s a total hypocrite that’d get destroyed in a national election.

She graduated in top 5 of her class in Boston Univ and could never get/had a real job. From Wikipedia:

After college, Ocasio-Cortez moved back to the Bronx where she worked two jobs, as a bartender in Manhattan[22] and as a waitress in a taqueria while her mother cleaned houses and drove school buses as they struggled to fight foreclosure of their home after her father died.[23] With financial backing from Sunshine Bronx Business Incubator, she established a publishing firm, Brook Avenue Press, that specializes in children’s literature portraying the Bronx in a positive light.[24] She worked as lead educational strategist at GAGEis, Inc.[25] Ocasio-Cortez was an educator at the nonprofit National Hispanic Institute.[26] In this role, in 2017, she served as the Educational Director of the 2017 Northeast Collegiate World Series where she participated in a panel on Latino leadership.[16]

She won some Intel sponsored prize for a research paper in microbiology in high school and ended up taking liberal arts in college.

sigh!

Not sure what kind of prize that is. As a Hispanic woman, she could have been admitted to Harvard if she got a decent prize. What’s the link to her biology prize and top 5 status from Boston University? Seems suspicious.

I don’t think she will get much traction in politics, probably flash n disappear. I’m worried about Tom Perez who is currently DNC chairman and was Obama’s Secretary of Labor. Perez has made Pelosi look like a republican.

If that’s the National science fair award, that’s a freaking big deal. She should’ve stuck with science. Maybe she’d be curing cancer right now.

Not an Intel international science fair award.

I got it from her Wikipedia page. She is trying real hard to prove her connection to Bronx there. Not much content there. Her history looks made up…

That’s already been proven true. She originally said she grew up in the Bronx and had to commute 40 minutes each way to school. Then someone dug up records that her dad bought a house 40 minutes away when she was 2. That’s where she grew up and why she went to school there. Then she changed her story to having close family in the Bronx and going there a lot.

Her back in 2012:

“You don’t really make a profit in your first year,” Ocasio-Cortez said Monday at the Sunshine Bronx Business Incubator in Hunts Point. “To get taxed on top of that is a real whammy.”

She was part of a incubator group:

She used to be all for the free market and small business. She’s another Bernie who failed at everything until starting a career in politics.

Wiki says it is “Intel International Science and Engineering Fair“, second prize. Why did Ivy schools miss such a diversity dream candidate? We need to check out the admissions officer

She graduated 4th in her class from Boston University.

“From 2003 to 2007, Ocasio-Cortez attended Yorktown High School,[13] where she won second prize in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with a research project on microbiology. As a result, the International Astronomical Union named a small asteroid after her: 23238 Ocasio-Cortez.[14][15] In high school, she took part in the National Hispanic Institute’s Lorenzo de Zalvala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session. She later became the LDZ Secretary of State while she attended Boston University. Ocasio-Cortez had a John F. Lopez Fellowship.[16] During college, she was an intern in the immigration office of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy.[17] She graduated fourth in her class[16] from Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations.[18]”

I don’t get how she graduated 4th in her class but never got a real job. For awhile, she clearly thought starting her own business was the way to go. Once that failed she turned socialist instead of having a career.

I thought Boston University is a good college. She interned for Ted Kennedy during college. If her bio is real, it could mean that she is a real commie

It’s ok, but it’s not Hahvard. But fourth of your class is still pretty darn good.

She’s still in business–the business of politics. She’s selling her constituents what they want to hear.

If Harvard did not admit her and she went to a school in Boston, I really doubt her bio.

How competitive to get an intern in Ted Kennedy’s immigration office? Does it mean anything?

Hear you on this… Do you have to be low-income AND minority to land a full-ride at Harvard?

Don’t know. She didn’t mention full ride at BU as well. I think she would get a student loan if Harvard admitted her and her family is too rich. Is there a way to verify the intel award?

She’s Catholic. Does Catholic Church has anything related to socialism?

Having trouble verifying the Intel award. Did find this:

https://sites.google.com/a/yorktown.org/yhsscienceresearch/awards

I think this is the best we can hope for on that–she really does have an asteroid named after her:

I’m Catholic, and I’m not a socialist… I’d think being Latina in NYC has more to do with it.

BC is Catholic BU is not. Cortez is dangerous. Fortunately she will do more damage to the Democratic party than the rest of us.
