Dow Down 666 Points

oops forgot to link the SA post.

Great !

HD is too good now like the way XOM. In fact, you should have asked when it is fallen at 180 level. Post any stock you watch, after its high fall, I will review.

As long as Home market is doing good, HD is best to hold. Since it has fallen from $210 to $180, and now going up it is good to buy (IMO).

Like druid (link) said, they increased dividend by 15%. HD results are 7.5% up in current results and forecasts 5% growth year over year.

Past is good, with increased dividends, future is also nominal growth and the stock is fallen 10% from peak, this is a great opportunity to buy.

Even though I say bullish, you have to review and take decision.

For sure, I am buying some HD tomorrow (set a limit buy at 188). I have freed-up money after the last all out sale.

How about ALGN? Anybody used their invisalign? The market cap is only $21B, still has 10x potential.

They were mentioned in the 10x thread. I want to know what their next product is. Single product companies eventually hit market saturation and crash hard (FIT and GPRO).

HD has 27B debt. Why so high?

I only invest into high tech companies…

Just FYI: ALGN growth was 158% one year and 20% YTD !

Four companies are good in Medical Equipment, ISRG (my favorite Sunnyvale HQ company) , EW, ALGN and MASI.

Both ISRG & EW are top ones, next comes ALGN. IMO, any of the three, you need to buy it low.

Presently, MASI is at its low last 6 months, Better P/E, Better Profit Margin, but still depressed. Tomorrow results after market which may either pull down or push up. The risk with MASI is single segment products as marcus335 said !

I do not know the products of EW and ALGN, and did not focus on those. Last year, I made good return from ISRG.

Presently, I do not hold any of these, but my preference is either ISRG or MASI.

If you buy in real estate, HD sounds too highly correlated, but dip does look like a great time to buy.

I spend a lot at HD, should have bought the stock years ago.

Happy with my Year-to-date return, not holding stocks in the downfall and not looking to make quick buck over earnings!

You are welcome! :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyone wants in?

Buffet not as good as an index fund

https://www.google.com/amp/s/seekingalpha.com/amp/article/4150977-pretty-picture-buffett-vs-s-and-p-500

Yes, this year buffet matched index fund level alone, but he wins overall for a longer time.

He seems to be late to the tech party. Probably why he doesn’t match the S&P. Appl seems long in the tooth just like him and Munger. They like Coke, and Wells Fargo.

I watch gun stocks. Usally they go up after mass shootings this time RGR is down.

Buffet likes banks and airlines too. And $116b in cash

https://www.investors.com/news/warren-buffett-stocks-top-berkshire-hathaway-holdings-apple-jumps/

WB has adjusted his course. He has brought in a few lieutenants, they are going to succeed Munger and him.

Bought HD at 186.16… looks like a down day.

WB is old now. Which fund is going to be the next Berkshire Hathaway?

I like to invest with the next Buffet who is still under 30

Tomato fund
