These days, 50 is the new 30. With the advent of medicine, you could live well pass 100. So it’s prudent to save up for rainy day even at near retirement…

You can’t trade those stocks right now. There’s some sort of error, so they halted trading. You might be able to execute on a different exchange. IB has an option to pick your exchange or just let it auto route for you.

My guess is something with the software (similar to Y2K issue), but the $1000 share price isn’t new. I don’t get why that’s suddenly an issue.
