A hard lockdown that is followed by everyone for an incubation period (3 weeks) and general masking for a couple of more incubation periods with a strong test and trace. Yes and no. People are swayed by peer pressure. If they think everyone is voting one direction, they don’t want to be left out and be the one person who voted the other way. That is especially true with the anger and hatred that people have lobbed at those voting for Trump. People will feel stronger making that decision if they feel that there are others around them who did the same thing.
Trump voters seem to such special snowflakes to claim victim hood when the documented cases are in the other direction with everything from security officers showing up at polls wearing trump masks, white militia patrolling booths in minority areas while fully armed, Trump org placing video recorders at polling areas. The documented incidents are in one direction so I can see how the abuser feels the victim
