What?
Texas votes are currently at 76.5% of the total number of votes in TX in 2016.
Why I don’t pay any attention to social media.
Nate Silver taking apart Trafalgar polls
So if he wins, will he get impeach right away??
and more looks like obama’s daughter and pelosi’s son video/pics are out too.
that’s what trump call swamp. politiicans in washington/95% news media/Hollywood,atheles.
And if he get elected and immediate impeach, what will happen to stock/housing???
As I stated previously, News/Media knows as much as we know, but they are creating sensational poll aiming to get maximum circulation (not aimed to provide realistic view) and finally end up saying “Tied”.
My only reason is this: The challenge from Hillary to Trump was very tough. Trump won with such force.
With Biden it is easy for Trump to win. Kamala Harris is aimed at race votes which is very weak.
They (News/Media) said similar with Obama-Romney like this, but it was easy win for Obama.

News/Media do not know anything until after elections results, they create sensational news(right or wrong) for benefit.
Maybe Texas Tribune is wrong then. I donno.
Here’s what AP is saying. Seems like matched 2016 early voting today/now.
Ten days before Election Day, Texans have already cast as many early votes as they did in 2016 and are nearly 80% of the way toward hitting the total — both early and on Election Day — counted four years ago.
Here’s why:
Whereas the vast majority of states are allowing widespread mail-in voting because of coronavirus fears, Texas is only one of five that refused, choosing instead to expand early voting by one week. That extended period helps explain Texas’ huge numbers so far with still a week of early voting to go.
First of all, Biden won’t win. Even a monkey is a better candidate than him.
Secondly, in your doomsday scenario, he would be removed under the 25th Amendment for health reasons. Pelosi already gave a preview.
I am hesitant to believe in theories which might sound conspiracy to many, however if the pollsters screw up this time they should all publicly apologize and make a career change to astrology
.
Article, below is about Brexit, and few more polls. Doesn’t talk about Trump election, because this was published before Trump election, which as we all know was another huge miss.
many are wondering, how in an age of unprecedented information and data, could the majority of polls predict a wrong outcome.
Leading up to voting day, the vast majority of polls predicted the remain side would prevail, however the final results gave the leave side a victory margin of more than one million votes.
The inaccurate Brexit prediction is just one of multiple misses over recent years, including last year’s U.K. general election, the Scottish referendum in 2014 and most recently during Bernie Sanders’ upset over Hillary Clinton during the Michigan primary.
Polls are not supposed to be taken as binary. Every reputable pollster tells you upfront what their error of margin is. They are literally supposed to be “wrong”. Most of the polls I saw have MOE of 3 to 4%. So if a poll has Biden-Trump at State X to be 52/48 and the final result is the other way around at 48/52, you can say the poll is wrong and never trust any polls again. But a 4% error is literally what they told you upfront.
I know in some countries opinion polls are “banned” till the election is over. Otherwise, these polls(IMO) just work to lead people in one direction or other.
I don’t think anyone makes the decision who to vote for by looking at the polls. Polls may influence people whether to come out to vote at all. With the First Amendment I don’t think we will ever come to ban polling.
Most people misremember the 2016 polls. Biggest problem is not that the polls are outrageously wrong. Problem is that most people, including me at the time, just ignored the data that’s staring at our faces.
Examples:
Michigan, final two weeks: Clinton +10 -> Clinton +3.6
Florida, final two weeks: Clinton +4 -> Trump +0.4
Pennsylvania, final two weeks: Clinton +5.6 -> Clinton +2.1
The final polls in 2016 did not miss the Trump surge. We just chose to ignore it. Data was not wrong. The interpretation was.
In the meantime, in the real world, the administration has given up on managing the virus (on tape from Mark Meadows) and have decided if they are going to lose, they might as well spread the virus everywhere to burn the country down (most of Mike pence immediate team is infected but they have no plan to isolate and instead plan to have their usual maskless rallies.)
I guess to be a republican today you need to simultaneously believe this is the greatest country in the world while being completely incapable of managing a virus unlike most of East Asia and ANZ.
Also you need to simultaneously believe you are a patriot who will be willing to lay down his/her life if it means killing yellow/brown/black people but oh it’s so inconvenient and impossible to wear a mask and be socially distant in order to ensure others are not going to get sick and die.
Can’t do nothing but shake my head at folks who will deny science, ethics and morals and would rather delude themselves by believing and sharing conspiracy theories
So Biden and Trump are tied in Texas? What about the 5% not favoring either.
I still don’t think Biden’s chances are good there. But Texas is weird this year. Turnout is sky high, and Harris is going there next week. You’d think their internal polls must be telling them it’s worthwhile to invest in there this late in the cycle.
Not ban polling, just the reveal time/date.
What’s going on in Europe now? The criteria to judge people who believe in science is, only citizens in countries who have tamed a coronavirus believe in science? Simplistic I would say.
The five countries with the highest rate of infection worldwide are all in Europe, according to Johns Hopkins University’s latest moving averages, as analyzed by CNN.
The worst-hit nations are the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France.
In all five countries, the number of new infections has surged since the beginning of October.

The US is worse then every EU country on a per capita basis (sort by cases per 1 million population).
I am sure there is some country that will be worse then the US at any given point in time or all the time. Anyway you prove my point - you cannot simultaneously believe the US is the best in the world while shift the goalposts to expect us to be average or worse in things like pandemic response
I will leave you with this
What is happening was predicted a year ago when the trump admin started dismantling Obama’s pandemic response team based on their pure hatred for anything Obama.
And today you have mike Pense who is supposed to lead up our nations response to this virus choosing to ignore medical advice and instead go on spreading the virus as for Republicans politics trumps country every time
Here is Newsoms covid19 plan
