The fact they are likely to get enough signatures and have a recall election is a pretty big deal. Of course when searching for Newsom recall it appears Fox News is covering and no one else is. That probably explains why it doesn’t exist to a bunch of people.

It doesn’t matter who will be on the tickets in 2028. It will be an election of Trump’s guys vs anybody else.
If people want more of Trump, they will go for Vance. If not, they will vote for the guy not associated with Trump. Simple as that.

Today’s GOP is not your parents’ GOP. It’s not the party of Reagan, McCain and Romney anymore. Trump got majorly offended by the words of Reagan himself on trade. That tells you how far the party has deviated from its so-called principles. I have no idea what the Republicans stand for these days.
Instead we have masked thugs randomly beating up and jailing people on streets, blowing up ships in international waters for fun, openly accepting brides and tilting government policies in return. The list goes on and on.
America is absolutely ready for a woman president and has been for years. It just has to be the right woman. Anyone remember Harris’s stint as DA in SF?
And those thugs beating people up - would those be the people attacking federal law enforcement executing lawful warrants?
And Reagan’s speech on trade? Listen to the whole thing. He was defending tariffs against Japan.
At the very least the Dems would have to renounce the idea of telling people what kinds of cars they’re allowed to buy and what kind of appliances they can have in their kitchens. They would also have to stop inciting and apologizing for murder. In the past year they have multiple assassination attempts against Trump, two Israeli embassy workers shot dead, an insurance company CEO murdered, a Jew set on fire in Colorado and Charlie Kirk’s assassination to their name.
Oh - and an ICE facility shot up.

There are not many politically motivated terrorist killings in the United States.

As for tariffs, targeted tariffs on specific goods from specific countries are fine. We always have those. Lay out the rationale why and I can be on board. What is not fine is Trump style indiscriminate tariffs on everything against the whole world. That makes zero economic sense.

So as just one example the assault on the ICE facility in Oregon - yet another Dem incited attack actually aided and abetted by Portland authorities - isn’t relevant to the data. That assault was the justification for a judge approving Trump’s use of troops there.
Domestic or foreign, it doesn’t matter. Right wingers are far more violent than leftists in both cases, and of course it’s not just murders. You just happen to remember the cases that upset you the most. How about the case where a state rep in Minnesota and her husband got murdered? Or even the Jan 6th riot?

In short, our individual-level examination found that among radicalized individuals in the United States, those adhering to a left-wing ideology were markedly less likely to engage in violent ideologically motivated acts when compared to right-wing individuals. People usually demonize Muslims for being terrorists. Data suggests right wingers are just as violent.
Again, now the world at large to further confuse and confound. And you found just one recent example of domestic right wing violence.
Since at least the 1960’s violence as a tool for political change in the U.S. has been the almost exclusive domain of the left. What is different now is the Democratic party actively encouraging it. Another recent example is Jay Jones who is running for AG in Virginia. He was caught texting about killing the children of his political opponents in their mother’s arms. He hasn’t been asked by Dems to step out of the race.
Good luck getting a party like that elected on the national level.
