Asians are definitely the most unwanted and unwelcomed. The pecking order is white, Hispanic, blacks, and, lastly, Asians.
Well, because we are a threat to the system more so in actually positive reasons than negative. Weren’t we called the “model minority” at one time? Why do you think some of us were so ga ga happy with just a freaking movie (Crazy Rich Asians) in which all of the stars were Asian? Asians have certainly closed the gap or exceeded in some respects with regards to income levels of whites. Now, probably the next big step would be for us to be out there in terms of national political leadership roles in which we have to really break out from our quiet demeanor shells and be more articulate and openly forcing the issues. We can’t hide behind computers and cell phones forever…

By the admission office’s own ratings, Asian-Americans rank higher than white applicants in both their academic prowess and the quality of their extracurricular activities. Yet their admission rates are much lower. For Asian-Americans in the top decile of academic skill, just 13.4% are admitted, compared with 18.5% of whites (see chart). Asians are scored much worse on another measure of applicant quality—the “personal rating”—by admissions officers. Unlike the other two metrics, personality is judged subjectively and is decided by admissions officers who have not met the applicants. The alumni who conduct in-person interviews rate Asian-Americans as highly as white applicants.

Asians are competing with each other for the same quota. It’s ok because we are over represented to begin with. Imagine if they set the quota to the actually population percentage, which is 5%. At least right now it’s higher.
As a 5% minority, Asian should be happy that they can get what they can get today. Minorities could be banned from top colleges or employment at top companies.
Actually Asians are not equal, they are working to have a strict quota for East Asians. Filipinos and other under represented Asians want to be treated as non asian

University admission is not the same as the nba draft, where 100% can be black based strictly on talent alone. It needs to keep a balance of different races to make various segments of society happy. Otherwise people will riot.

Asians are indifferent to politics. It’s easy to set up quotas for Asians and there will be no resistance at all. Discrimination against Asian has no consequences since Asians don’t riot and don’t vote
