Just burned my vineyard canes from last year. Four big bonfires. Sure was fun. 12 foot high flames. Thank god I live in Eldorado County! We plan on banning liberals.
Fortify your defenses. Liberal are coming to take over every town and community.
It’s time to #committothebay
I am buy-and-hold in Bay Area.
You’re not the boss. She commanded you.
What I take issue with is our leaders—people of means— abandoning our community when it needs us most. Reaping the benefits of Silicon Valley’s talent, tech incubators, mentors, professional network, and culture until they no longer need it.
I take issue with above statement. Those guys are well rewarded with stratospheric TSLA share price. Let your fellow Americans elsewhere have some bacons.
What San Francisco needs now as small businesses are desperate for a lifeline, average Americans are food insecure, workers are losing their jobs, homes and loved ones to this nasty virus and shelters and hospitals are overrun is for tech leaders to step up and give back.
What are you talking about? @manch keeps telling us there are many startups churning thousand of millionaires. These guys can easily give back! You mean they run away too?
Create your own damn bacons, instead of fixating on stealing ours.
It’s pretty easy for Jeff Lawson to say this, but with the CA assembly (and people like David Chiu) constantly pushing policies against landlords not a quarter goes by with me worrying about staying invested in CA.
Unrelated, but how many of you signed the recall Gavin petition (or should I be asking via an anonymous poll?)
Read what the majority think,
The ONLY reason to get into this Bay Area jackpot is if you are young and attach to a start-up that can get you a lottery ticket, and then bail, or if you are lucky become a fixture in the deal culture out there.
The senior folks mentioned in this article are behaving very rationally, given the hand they are dealt.
Anyhoo, you claim that only mediocre leave So why so worked up when Elon Musk left. He is a mediocre by association.
I am pretty certain Elon has peaked now that he’s out of our magical state.
Look at these Austin native companies. How come they suck so badly?
So no need to worry. Tell that to Jeff Lawson.
The last time Texas was a technology leader was in 1972 when Texas Instruments invented handheld calculators starting with the SR10. HP quickly topped them with the HP35 and Texas was beaten again by Californian technology.
HP calculator was fabricted in firm created by form TI employees.
HP calculator generally pricer and high quality but that is expected as from Bayarea they have to compete with land rising sun and its Casio and Sharp lineup.
Casio Made In Japan top notch in graphics. i used to have7700G and HP48G at time.
Why talk about the past? Is HP still making calculator? HPE or HPQ? Or spinoffs?
What will happen in 10-20 years from now?
Big brother Bay Area still bossing little brother Austin around.
Answer to the OP: UP
"Housing affordability, which had greatly benefitted from falling mortgage rates, are now being challenged due to record-high home prices,” Lawrence Yun, NAR’s chief economist, said in a press statement. “That could place strain on some potential consumers, particularly first-time buyers.”
Please don’t buy any more rentals, give the first-time buyers a chance
If no more rentals where will renters live?
Buy or leave
or stay in apartment
