Yes that is very hot . Some one listed a house on Winton and that got 8 offers and sold for way over . I sold 14630 wyrick ave , San Jose with approved plans to someone and they have built the 4600 sq feet house she should sell it for a hood price now .

Check Redfin and Zillow estimates of my CU SFHs, they are 5% below the peak achieved in mid-2018. I need the market to be hotter :fire:

Redfin or zillow estimates are actually wrong when you hold a home more than 10 years. The actual price will be higher than the estimates that you will know only when you sell the property.

If you get some realtors help, they will give you realistic price.

Totally true. These days sales number really doesn’t match with Redfin or Zillow algorithm.

What you said is true but is inappropriate for the occasion  You respond like a computer  just like many STEM grads :face_with_hand_over_mouth: Not intending to sell, just checking casually/ casual talking, precise price is not needed :innocent:

Forum members know who is responding like computer or illogical? You can not change zillow or redfin algorithm which is giving you wrong information.

EB is crazy right now too…houses going with 10+ offers way over asking…esp in the starter home ~$1M range

Hottest RE market ever nationally. The Fed is pumping the whole economy. Not looking forward to the hangover. But enjoying the ride.

That’s what I want to know. What will trigger the hangover and when? We are seeing a divergence between white collar people who can WFH and service sector employees at an unprecedented rate. I’m not sure what would disrupt the people who can WFH. Do the service sector employees eventually rebel and use democrat control of congress to pass reforms that make the new deal look like child’s play? Then that leads to budget deficits so big that the fed can’t control interest rates?

What will the non skilled who will pour across the borders soon do? They will be slaves to the rich Progressives, maybe clean Bernie’s 3 houses at a new Federal minimum wage of $15/hr?

I don’t think there is a plan unless it is to make a material portion of the population forever dependent on the government for survival. I think democrats see that as an acceptable cost to lock in a voting majority, so they can push the rest of their agenda without resistance. I’m not sure if they really believe they’re saving the world or just hate capitalism that much.

We already know the green deal isn’t about the environment but destroying capitalism. The guy who created for AOC admitted it. I guess that doesn’t concern anyone here? Maybe people think the environment is such a pressing issue that sacrificing capitalism is an acceptable cost. Cleary, there must be more elegant solutions. The US has been lowering our total CO2 for years now and CO2 per capita has been declining for decades. I’m sure it’s like murder stats. People think we’re at an all-time high when we aren’t. Of course, no amount of data or charts will change opinions on it.

To me, it’s mind-blowing that anyone above a median income supports this stuff. They’ll eventually take away all that income above median in the name of fairness, justice, and equality. People who don’t believe that aren’t paying attention.

Shouldn’t quote Bernie. The photo clearly show four women of color… not a racist or anti-feminist comment, just factual observation. So those non-skilled are best to be in saloons for hair-dos, nail polishing, facials, … :grinning:

Bernie is their “father”(in terms of ideology).

Btw, I’m pretty sure in a few years all these 4 will also have 3 houses on their own assuming they stay in Congress, while they bash capitalism as their main agenda to their constituents.

Buy RE or Dogecoin??? Choice is obvious to me…

Look I’m a democrat but I agree with this. The AOC wing is too extreme just like the Gaetz side of the Republican Party is too extreme.

Unfortunately the middle of both parties is disappearing. I am worried about the future of this country.

I fear a war between the haves and have nots . Like Russia in 1917. I think the Reddit mob will start it. The news media loves to demonize the right. But the left wants to take everything that all the producers have made… by force if necessary. They consider hedge funds and the rich to be thieves. So why just take their wealth from them?

Prepare to leave

War is better than genocide in that there is still a chance. Many genocides in Africa and Asian countries are the have nots massacred the entire group of haves. You can search web for these news.
