How the Coronavirus will affect Bay Area Housing Market

65% gain in @7 years.

@SVRE Is the growth % approximately similar to 94087? My guess would be No.

My tahoe properties have all doubled or tripled in less than 7 years.

@Roy321 I think 94086 and 94087 appreciation is matched in recent years. If anything 94086 is probably appreciating a bit faster since it was cheaper to begin with.

@Elt1 it is probably easier for $500k properties to double to $1M than it is for $1.5M to double to $3M

You guys still buying properties or is everyone all stocks and crypto now? :joy:

Look at this gem

Where? Oakland?

All stocks and crapto now. Buying properties seems so old fashioned and quaint - kind of like buying gold :joy::joy::joy:

Anyway, overpriced crapto or overpriced Bay Area crap shack - what is the difference. No respect left for our hard earned dollars anymore :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Alameda , I’m moving on up!

I took the pics in portrait but not sure why it turned to landscape when I uploaded.

Anwyays, if you see this on mls in 2 weeks then it means I couldn’t lock this down. :disappointed:

This house looks ok. Just needs cleaning.

I will go in to buy your recommended crypto that would guarantee returning $5.7B for $8k. I can then sell the crypto and buy all the houses in @manch neighborhood and make him homeless :smiling_imp:

:joy: True, when I walk through I was like I definitely seen worst.

But the pictures can’t do it justice. It’s a compete gut job. Reeks of cigarette smoke, dog, but that’s ok.

It’s 2 unit and an Adu. One unit is non conforming. The plan is to legalize it. The ceiling is too low right now. Apparently the city said it needs foundation work too so I need to find out what’s the issue.

It’s gonna be fun if I get it. Headache money is my specialty.

Sounds like it needs to be torn down. Ceiling is too low foundation bad interior bad… what’s left? A few rotten wall studs?

Studs are expensive these days! Maybe the scrap lumber is worth more than the actual value of the building

Claremont is one of the nicest areas of Berkeley

Claremont is in Oakland

Both apparently.

The Claremont district is a neighborhood straddling the city limits of Oakland and Berkeley in the East Bay section of the San Francisco Bay Area in California, United States. The main thoroughfares are Claremont and Ashby Avenues.

Oakland or Berkeley PD are both garbage. Go with Piedmont instead.
