Crazy low inventory of SFH in Sunnyvale 94087. There are only 4 active listings in the market, of which one is a new construction being built, and another is a glorified TH with HOA. Only 2 existing true SFH available ![]()

thanks for the recommendation! we will check it out!
This is incredible, but the entire Sunnyvale 94087 zip code has 0 SFH for sale. Not even at Christmas time has the inventory reached 0 before. NO ONE IS SELLING!
Bay Area SFHs in desirable middle class zip codes - it’s the ultimate supply chain bottleneck!
No deal. ![]()
They sold it for 750k only. I was willing to pay 800k but they didn’t even give me a chance to counter. Some family friend…
Oh man you must want Sunnyvale real bad - I should have gotten you in a private off marker deal which I had access in Sunnyvalle ( 95087 ) for 2525K but after slight remodel it was 3.1 across the street.
I sold one house off market to a forum member off line and they sold it for 400k+ after 2 years
Let me see if that deal is still available.
Deals between members! That’s awesome. ![]()
Thank you @cloud , but I am not in the market for real estate, neither to buy nor sell - just saying that Sunnyvale has become too expensive with many houses selling over $3M.
Sunnyvale is interesting to keep an eye on because in many ways it represents the cross-over point among Bay Area neighborhoods. By this I mean that there are the clearly expensive parts like PA, Los Altos, Saratoga, Atherton, Hillsborough etc. Then there are clearly less expensive areas like East San Jose, Milpitas, South San Jose, Santa Clara etc.
Sunnyvale seems to be the mid way between these - it’s the best of the cheaper, middle class towns, and the entry level of the more exclusive, richer towns.
So, now $3M seems to be the new entry level to exclusivity in the Bay Area…
Yes I wonder this too . I used to make fun of Sunnyvale …neither here nor there …in a state of limbo . In Indian mythology it’s called “Trishanku”
Trishanku has made to heavens
I don’t remember I assigned the contract to either @bugmenot @hmmwv79 @maluka
I only know there real name and when @manch organizes the real get together .Atleast one round of drinks is on them.
Yes, Sunnyvale seems to have been promoted from “Trishanku” to heavens if RE price is the metric. Latest evidence is this 2000 sq ft house which just sold for $3.4M - IMO sold for 200-300k more than it would have earlier in the spring.
Years ago I read that Sunnyvale has the highest concentration of single Indian men in the nation…
Inventory seems to be back
Yes, inventory is back in 94087 but still only 8-9 SFH. I think price is spiking by 200-300k (5-10%) compared to spring.
Where is Fairfield? Is that near Bakersfield?
It’s between SF and Sacramento.
