This is why there is mass hysteria in a land controlled by litigation attorneys. As long as everyone wants to place blame, including Trump we are screwed. We need problem solvers not whining.

USA has a finger-pointing attitude. Could be a consequence of
Americans don’t take personal responsibility of failures. Is always other people’s faults.

When Reagan was asked about the Iran contra scandal, he stated “as we used to say in the Navy, it happened on my watch, I take responsibility for it”. Compare that to Trump when asked about the failure to get testing kits out in timely manner. “I don’t take any responsibility for it”.
I never said Dems are saints. Maybe you should take a break from the Trump worship? 
Have I said he’s doing a good job? I’ve just pointed out that:
- US is on par with other western democracies.
- Expecting government agencies to save us is silly given their track record.
- US is doing most of what S Korea is doing. You’re the one praising one country while saying the other is a disaster.
- The virus is either less contagious or less deadly than is being stated.

South Korea is doing 20k tests a day. US has done 20k, total, after almost two months since the first American case.
In South Korea medical care is free. And they took the threat seriously. As recently as this last Monday our president brushed it off as a flu.

Hm. So the CDC was doing the same thing it normally, but this time they messed up. Also, it wasn’t the test that was wrong it was one of the ingredients had a defective supply. All the people saying the CDC made their own test because of Trump are 100% wrong. It’s been their policy since before Trump.
This hit in Asia. They ordered up all the RNA kits. Now there’s a massive shortage when the US wants to start testing. I’m sure that shortage is Trump’s fault too.

Interesting. One of the scenarios that the Obama admin gamed out with the incoming Trump admin was pandemic preparedness and what might happen and what needs to be done. Very similar to the current outbreak…
The ability to execute well here was handed on a plate to the Trump admin and they dropped the ball

Trump has taken up Romney’s idea to send $1000 to every adult as a stimulus package. I am ready to get mine now.
Finally he is doing the right thing.

Trump had a call about the pandemic on Monday with the leaders of the Group of Seven nations. In a joint statement released by the White House, they agreed to work together to accelerate and coordinate the global response to the coronavirus pandemic.
You mean Andrew Yang’s idea.
Yang was a nobody with no money and no political experience. Why would anyone take his advice? My guess is anyone on this forum is more qualified to be president.
