Los Gatos / Saratoga vs Palo Alto / Mountain View / Los Altos

Mountain View’s crazy RE scene :point_down:t2::point_down:t2::point_down:t2:
A “diamond in the rough” aka fixer upper, with an unpermitted addition. In any sane place would have been very difficult and slow to sell.

But in Mtn View, sold for almost $3M, over 500k above list, and within 10 days of listing

$4M sale price in Los Altos. IMO, s bit expensive for a house that backs up onto Hwy 85…

While in Sunnyvale a 1300 sq ft home just sold for $2.68M or more than 800k above list, here is its elder brother in Los Altos:

A 1300 sq ft home that sold for $3.58M or almost 1M above list.

Clearly, Los Altos sets the high bar for wannabes like Sunnyvale to aspire to, even at the entry level :joy::joy::joy:
