Finns are happy?
Among developed countries their suicide score comes out fairly high.

Interesting that Costa Rica beats France.

I would take France. The most popular tourist destination in the world… .

It’s low on the list because its expensive and difficult to live there if you don’t speak French. But it has the best food wine . Great culture beaches skiing sightseeing… and a certain savior fare

I have heard that the French can be really discriminatory against foreigners though. True?

I am not the first one to say this, but Malays are really, really nice people in general.

You are probably right. I am staying in Tahoe. But I am definitely going to vacation in the South of France

The only “knock” for me when it comes to Lake Tahoe is that the drive there is kinda dangerous (going over the mts, etc). Otherwise, yeah, very nice…

Dangerous?
I never thought so but then again I lived in the Santa Cruz mountains and now I live on the Mogollon Rim.
The drive on the 50 over Echo summit is otherworldly.

Remember, I am not a 20 year old who thinks he is invincible anymore.

I drive 50 all the time to my farm. It’s beautiful but definitely dangerous. Especially in the winter. I won’t drive it in a snow storm. A good friend was killed on 50 near the crystal basin turnoff two years ago… head on collision…Horsetail falls is still raging even in August. We hiked it two months ago… no one else there…

We’re all your age or older - and realize we’re in the final inning anyway

Which is why I advocate that we all REALLY ENJOY OURSELVES WHILE WE CAN and don’t fret the small crap. Gosh, would my wife allow me to buy one of these? I will go really slow on non mountain roads, I promise…

Dude, how long have you been married? You don’t know the trick?

Buy this car for her on her birthday or something, and then drive the car yourself everyday. Make sure she’s riding with you for the first month or two though.

SMH… what else do you not know?

Uh, she don’t drive stick…

I heard the other day that stick shift is now considered an “anti-theft” device …

Tell her you’ll teach her how to drive stick with this car because whatever nice car she is driving now has way higher risk of being stolen.

On the subject, I was actually thinking about sending a left-handed car to Malaysia. I have seen some there. Talk about the ultimate anti theft deterrent.

No, you know women… she wants Benz but don’t want to pay for it. I know I ain’t. I told her, you pay for the bump in car insurance ok? She stopped thinking about it… LOL

When in Australia we rented a car and drove around town for two days. Other than having to keep reminding myself all the time that I need to drive on the left side, the car wasn’t particularly hard to handle.

But a left-handed stick shift would really be something of a deterrent.

Other way around… I would ship a US based manual sports car to SEA for use there.

The sec I hit Malaysia, I have to hunt down a driving school. Can’t survive out in the remote part of the island wo a car.

Why do you need to hunt down a driving school there?

Even though I am a veteran driver here, I am NOT confident enough to just get into a right handed steering wheeled car (even if automatic, which it must be at first) and drive opposite there in the left lane. I will want to get acclimated by having some driving instruction at first. Hey, foreign county at the end of the day. I don’t want to F it up…

Told you guys to buy…

No brainer…across Singapore via fast train that is coming soon. Walking distance to the station. Airbnb can!!!
