IMO, NVDA grows faster than TSLA !
SHOP up 10%. Jil stocks are going up.
Then why donāt you put your money where your mouth is, by shorting the stock?
And let us know by what amount you shorted it if you do. With your caliber might I suggest no less than $500kā¦
wuqijun has antagonized the media. Bears are attacking TSLA.
Itās time to dump Tesla. Now!
Tesla shares could crash more than 45%
Meanwhile your sincerely starts dipping in small cap ($2B to $10B) hoping for 10x over 10 years,
UBNT - 100 shares
FSLR - 100 shares
While discussing, a few potentials have passed me by,
IRBT
SHOP
Keeping a close eye on,
DATA
VEEV
CRUS
Together they are known as Seven Up
Now praying for share prices of Seven Up would decline sharply so can buy more, not panic sell existing holding as what others do.
Really hanera? Only $5k a piece? So if it increases 10x you make $45k.
Why not add an extra zero at the end pleaseā¦
Do you understand what is DCA purchasing approach?
Buy over a period of time not in one-go. Then sit and enjoy the ride.
Do you really think Iām thinking of only 10x?
Iām not rich like you and manch, who have $500k to invest ![]()
Come on, DCA means you buy $50k every month⦠
So who is the wealthiest man or woman here? Hope itās not politically incorrect to ask
Those hardly post. A few women and men.

[/quote]For S&P index, need to do for at least 10 years to be effective, interval to purchase is usually once a fortnight. No clue for individual stocks.
I thought it was hanera, but Iām questioning that now after all these stingy bets.
So now Iām thinking @Elt1 or @ptiemann. You know the stereotype⦠rich old *****⦠
Well if he bought 100k AAPL, how much is it worth now? I guess he is betting 5k on each stock with the AAPL dividend
That wouldāve been $25M. That means 167k shares. Which means he gets $105k in dividend every 3 months. Yes, he couldāve afforded $50k bets just with dividends alone. Come on, @hanera
FSLR is run by a finance guy. Never trust a finance guy to run a tech company. Theyāll make the most of existing assets, but they arenāt going to be a visionary on future tech. I wouldnāt trust them to run the company for 10-20 years.
Iāve been trying to find a stock screener that includes revenue per employee. Some include revenue and employees, so you can download and do the math. I want to limit my screen based on the criteria though. The best companies generate a lot of revenue per employee. If you combine that with high gross margin, then youāre talking about companies with the potential to significantly grow.
Correct, No solar venture at this time.
Yes, and why go for solar when you now know Tesla owns solar city.
Wow, I share so much, yet wuqijun refuses to share any.
My bets so far are:
Mid-Cap (more than $10B, less than $100B)
NVDA 4 short puts ($120)
Small Cap (more than $2B, less than $10B)
UBNT 100 shares
FSLR 100 shares
Micro-cap (less than $2B market cap)
SPWR 500 shares
AMBA 50 shares
LQMT 70,000
shares
AMZN is run by a hedge fund manager.
Btw, market normally peaks in August and down in Sep/ Oct. So, buying now is against norm, opening an initial position, is ok. Can make another around of purchase in Sep/ Oct.
So you spent so much time on stocks you only invest a few thousand or a few hundred dollars? Is almost all your money still tied on appl? Itās a good stock with decent dividend, but at some point, it may still peak
Say what? $20k to lose it all is a lot of money.
His purchase price (comparing current price) is at $1.15. His dividend return every year works to 225% of original purchase price. Had he invested $10000 in 1998, he gets dividend every year $22500.
hanera holding apple is buying a desirable palo alto home that gives 100% return (original purchase price) as rent.
This is hold for life long and pass it for future generations unless Apple goes to bankruptcy !
AAPL is roaring up! New ATH!
wuqijun,
How much has your stock portfolio shot up by? 5%?
