Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) joked at a town hall in Audubon, Iowa, Tuesday about sterilizing Muslim women in China “so there’s no more Uighurs to be born,” and “trying to force them to eat pork,” the Sioux City Journal reports.
The actual quote has him saying the only thing he agrees with is everyone eating pork. Obviously tongue in cheek.
On another topic Boris Johnson chastised Mike Pence over our apparent lack of consumption of British haggis. I had to look that stuff up because I never had the…pleasure…
I wonder if he can sue for libel.
Congressman Steve King tries to make a joke about China’s alleged treatment of Muslims. He said the Chinese are sterilizing Muslim women and making them eat pork. “That’s the only part of that I agree with,” King said. “Everyone should eat pork.”
I’m shocked people took a partial quote out of context to make a politician racist. I’m even more shocked that news organizations broadly repeated it. It’s most shocking that people fall for it.
Something I forgot. The poster, for what I understood, thought that I was what? A white guy by mentioning I hate minorities? I am a minority guy! I just came back from a party, where I drank 3 beers, and the party goers were Filipino, Vietnamese, Indians, Mexicans, but not Guatemalans. 
If he met me, man! I joke about my own people, and other people! And we would have so much fun because racism and discrimination, though embedded in certain races or nationalities doesn’t have a place in my heart.
On the topic:
I am shocked that never, ever, I am going to see, meaning “read”, anything from people that…would be the target of those politicians, either defending racist people with “they are nice” or, being quiet about Nazis marching on our streets, you know them, those supremacists calling for…the “disappearance” of those whom again, defend supremacist wanting them gone.
Answer this: Would you be accepted into a KKK or Nazi group marching on our streets, or, you would be a victim of their irrational and criminal plea? Look at yourselves in the mirror, do you wear “American?”, have you “assimilated”?..….we all know that no matter what, your looks are a tell tale of how you are going to be portrayed by the haters. There’s your answer.
That’s all I ask you. Are you sure you are in the right side?
Me thinks some of you are just people driven by partisanship feelings. Like sheep in a vacation trip to the slaughter house. Stand for those being discriminated against. I would if you were a victim.
And it’s common. Tens of millions of people will go to the polls next year and base their decisions on things that never actually happened. This is just one of hundreds.
