Prop 109
Prop 47 was the proposition that has started the current crime wave.
speaking of decriminalizationâŚ
The new DA has said public urination will no longer be prosecuted.
Funny but the few times I went into the city I always had to be careful when I had my coffee. How long until whatever meeting I was there for? Even the coffee shops didnât have public restrooms. Guess now if I ever need to go back I can just make like Iâm still in the woods.
BTW this is how some folk deal with the problem -
When Martin recalled the June break-in at the Pine Tar Grill, what sticks in his mind wasnât losing the computers or bobbleheads. Instead, it was a conversation he had with a police officer who viewed the footage of the break-in, who told him that he recognized the person in the video and that he had been arrested multiple times, Martin said.
âAs a business owner,â Martin said, âthatâs just really hard to hear.â
Soft on crimeâŚ
âGlenn said he has seen a correlation between higher rates of organized retail crime and areas of the country where the dollar amount for felony thresholds have been raised.â
This combined with lack of prosecution will make it very difficult for retailers to operate in SF. All in the name of making the criminal justice system more equal.

@Elt1 is right as Sacramento is listed as one of the top places people go.
A long time acquaintance of mine who lives in Sac and still rents may get priced out. Sheâs having a heck of a time.
What about the source? Canât be just pumping away the water cause by a leaking pipe?
Fundamentally, the SF supervisors think itâs just as much human right to poop in the street as housing, (and housing in SF is a human right), so poop patrol is just catering to the cityâs changing new dynamics. There cannot be a finer example of tax dollars at work.
I found the $32.75/pile number to be underwhelming. Itâs far from the price of gold despite similar colors. Got a lot of catching up to do.
Maybe if they just opened up day-centers again, they wouldnât have this problem. I heard that as they were closing the centers, one of them calculated exactly how many pounds of exrement a year they were saving the city from cleaning up⌠They were allowed to stay open longer.
Cost of doing business is too high.
Flore sure looks open from their website. Maybe just transitioning to private eventsâŚ
The rug under SFOâs feet might be pulled out faster than SFO politicians think. The mayor who was helming the city is now the Governor of CA. Can people be any more stupid?
More Gavin Newsom failures.
