yeah - I’ve had the same thought - the only way this is going to be solved is people shooting the looters. 
If I recall correctly, they did something like this (shoot the looters) in Florida a few years ago. Lootings stopped immediately.

Uhm… I’m not so clear on that. A security guard protecting a newscaster just got killed over an expensive camera. Who thinks that the executive’s Rolex won’t fetch a good price on ebay?

These guys do not seriously want any solution. They just want to support their “agenda”, while managing public pushback.
why was Bernie Madoff sent to Jail? AFAICR his ponzy scheme was purely non violent and he also donated a lot of money to charities.
