Best way to get action - attack the relative of powerful politician. Sort of like the outrage when those high end stores were looted earlier his year. Beat on the hoi polloi and steal their stuff and nothing will happen.

not watching SF politics but wondering if things will move right. I just voted against Newsom myself - didnāt even know the other guy but saw the āRā next to his name and voted because I canāt stand Newsom and his ārules are for you but not meā attitude. and I am someone who used to just vote straight D without even looking. All my CA votes were R, all Fed ones D.
What a shockā¦ corrupt liberals. Every corrupt city in the US is run by Democrats. Chicago Philadelphia Cleveland Detroit Baltimoreā¦ the list is endless.
Thatās what some are predicting including staunch Democrats themselves who are pissed at how their party handled the pandemic. So much to hate that could easily have been done better. Interesting too, to hear it from scientists/doctors who are appalled at how the CDC and FDA made a sham of the scientific process.

What surprises me even more is that Thurmond is back as Superintendent of Public Instruction.
I wonder how many parents who actually have kids in public schools voted for Thurmond. Is it possible that all the lifelong Dems just vote Dem straight up and down and donāt care at all about the learning loss that happened over the pandemic? And if a lot of the kids in LA and the Bay Area are actually immigrants without citizenship, the parents with the most skin-in-the-game have zero ability to vote for the person in charge.
Even the rich canāt avoid the effects of crime anymore.
