San Francisco Is The Place To Be

If I were the owner, I def would see if the state of CA builders remedy rules apply here.

Oh yeah, well, we have free indoor pickleball courts!!!

The California city has slumped in recent years from one of the most desirable places to live to one crippled by opioid usage, a disproportionate rate of homelessness and rising crime.

This is the place to be??? in the past :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Buy. The. Bottom.

Sf needs to bring back old fashioned vigilantism like in the 19th century. Like MADD… instead make it mad mothers against street punks. Kids who obviously have mothers that aren’t doing their job .

Any cerebral power will be crushed to pulp with those baseball bats :grinning:

Must be very stupid for the AI nerds to all come to SF instead of Fremont or Austin.

.

They are not stupid, in fact, highly intelligent. Just not wise.

GOTHAM CITY, needs batman(i.e. imaginary character) to go back to earlier version. Won’t happen because the voting population which votes for these policies wanted SF to become GOTHAM CITY and it has turned out exactly how they wanted it to be. There’s no magic, it’s called causation.

Uh, food in the Fab 7x7 is waaaaay better (sorry Fremont, just be content that you were voted best city for families and have the most happy people).

This is the price for getting food in SF. + Overpriced parking and jumping over poop…

Both families stopped at Alamo Square for just five minutes to snap some photos at the iconic spot, but that’s all the time it took to become the city’s latest car break-in victims.

Nobody goes to Alamo square for food. Only to take pictures of the overrated Painted Ladies.

Meanwhile this is what hellhole looks like:

In Tahoe we have our version of lawbreakers. Left my garage open for five minutes while working in the yard. A large bear went into garage and raided the garbage can. Fortunately my neighbor scared him off before he broke into my cars or freezer. They are just hanging out looking for opportunities for food.
As for Alamo sq … totally overrated. I am sure tourists would much rather watch bears raid my garbage. Another day my friend visited from the BA left his window down. With five minutes the bear had jumped in his truck, made a mess and left… fortunately there was no food in the truck.

Comparing

Animals rarely looking for food in human areas

vs

Same bunch Humans/characters routinely stealing, breaking in and occasionally hurting, killing and regularly getting away from prosecution.

Tahoe is much better.

If WFH stays the way it is… then “techies are bad”,“inequality”,“tax money comes from govt not from successful business”,“business is bad”, “stealing $1000 is ok”… yada yada… these cities will beg on their knees for techies to come back to work and businesses to be back in downtown, cuz everybody will move to Tahoe/somewhere far. Case in point, my boss bought a house in Tahoe during the pandemic and spends long periods in Tahoe house . His primary is in Fremont btw, for the last 25 years.

Here’s another indicator below of how things are bad for SF. Btw, it’s not bad press as the headline says, it’s reality that the press can’t ignore any more.

Come on, Fab 7x7 is NOT a big Airbnb town! Remember, a lot of cities are banning Airbnb altogether. For example, even my Penang Island in Malaysia has banned all Airbnb with only some exceptions.

The 10 cities with the most Airbnbs - everviz.

This morning in the cliffs above Fossil Creek less than 10 miles from my place. BF nowheredom where’s there no intelligence, artificial or otherwise. At about 8:40 my very first red coatimundi - a critter spellcheck can’t even handle. They usually come in black.

Looks like a bear raccoon mix

That’s a pretty good description.
