I ski Heavenly. Epic pass. I used drive an hour to ski Squaw, Kirkwood and Northstar. And still do occasionally. But Heavenly at 10min away is good enough for me. I heard basically it’s just Shirley lake skiing on Sierra cement. Should be fun though.
11/19 opening for Heavenly and Northstar! We went with the Epic Pass this year as well.
Tahoe is really beautiful right now. Rivers filled up salmon spawning fall colors and no tourists

Should be a big winter. We are looking forward to it. No new snow till November 5. I am going to take a beach break. Headed to my friends beach house in San Clemente.

We survived the first storms with massive blackouts and traffic snarls. Another 3-5’ due by Christmas.
I’m supposed to get about an inch of much needed rain over Christmas. Maybe a dusting of snow a couple days later.
