Just remembered while following at the time as an investor.
This article says ~1500 deliveries in 2017, but I think production at end of 2017 was higher so some cars produced but not delivered.

How? When you produce vehicles on the last day of 2017, they are not going to be delivered in 2017.

Bonuses should be tiered by amount sold. Shouldn’t be all-or-nothing. It’s bad for morale.

Positive free cash flow (check) is what really matters.
He must have stopped personally reviewing every expense. It’s amazing they are selling a record number of cars and still losing money. That’s what happens in a low gross margin business.
