Folks, hear me out.
Flexible solar panels on the top of your car. Seriously. That’s the future of charging your car.
No I haven’t run the numbers
Folks, hear me out.

No I haven’t run the numbers
Ok, let me run some numbers:
80 sq ft x 20 W/sq ft = 1600 W for the car = 1.6 kW
According to this you’ll want anywhere between 7kW - 14kW to run your car?

So you’d still need to charge if you ran it for a long trip, but for driving to work, you should be fine as long as you work 5-10 times as long as you drive. And you’d need to park it in the sun.
No problem.
Sure, you can charge at home. 11 hours to “fuel up” full assuming you have 240.
And of course you can fill a gas tank at home. 400 mile range after two or three minutes of fueling. It’s done with a cheap accessory called a Jerrycan. You might need a few. Hardly anyone bothers to do this though. Think about why.
Jason Debolt is from UCLA - somewhat familiar.
Dotcom bust is about 20 years ago. Age 39 now means he was 19 then, definitely didn’t experience Dotcom era. Did he know that many Yahoo! employees and all-in Yahoo! investors are way richer than he is now? And much younger? Yahoo! then is also changing the world, is in many promising businesses, large TAM, run by an once-in-life-time genius… look invincible… predictions of very high price targets… Yahoo! is still in the first few innings… plenty of runway to go… many stock wizards become uber rich going all-in. He is too young as @wuqijun would say, ain’t know nothing yet.
I retired at 39 with a net worth of $4.5 million.
Dang, I’m close to those numbers but don’t think I’m close to retiring. I feel like I would need 6+ to feel more comfortable with the variability of future outcomes and cash flows to be sustained for hopefully a long time.
Did you do some contract work on the side?
He is full time real estate investor and stock investor. He is retired from 9-5 work, but actively working/managing properties.
I am surprised at 39 (thought you were younger), and I am surprised at 4.5 (sounds low from what you have been describing).
@wuqijun is no big deal. I retired at the age of 44 with less than $1M net worth. Have no fear, trust your TSLA
He is a lot older than this now.
I’m 46 now with a net worth of $27 million.
We are the same age, and my net worth is nowhere near yours.
wow! How did you do this? Please share any wisdom…I am 41 and not even close.
Just read through all my posts on this thread.
