The list of countries banning ICE car sale will be growing, not shrinking. Car manufacturers have every incentive in the world to make EV work for them, or else. It’s not like EV’s are some future science projects. They are already among us.
In 2035 it will be hard to buy a new ICE car, just like you can’t find a non-smart cellphone to buy today. The supply chain will all be geared towards EV’s.

Who cares? iCE cars last 20-50 years they will still exist. The Ev cars are junked after 3 years . They are a joke. Nobody wants them. I can’t wait till Democrats come for our IcE cars. It will be ugly. EV cars might reduce CO2 by five percent . But the waste problem will become huge. EVs are for hypocrites.
What current generation doesn’t know is that government regulations created the worst cars in history from 1972 to 19990

Exactly, I was thinking the same when I was driving my Bolt through I-5. Almost all gas stations will be converted into EV stations in 5-20 years !
EV truck with 1000 miles must come to reality, then gas stations will be gone.
If 500 miles car is practically on street, then people can travel easily SF to LA point to point with home chargers.

Batteries are on an exponential improvement curve. What is more important is fast charging. If an EV can be charged to 80% capacity in a few minutes, you don’t even need home chargers.

Energy required to bring solar (or any other sources) from… all the way to your car. => Highly efficient with low cost. Transmission loss of electrical energy through HVDC (High voltage Direct Current) has highest efficiency.
ICE cars are 25% efficient on conversion while EV cars are 85%-90% efficiency. => Still valid. Engine conversion is 25% in ICE cars and 85%-90% EV cars.
There is no point in talking such political issues as we are wasting time.
Instead people should make efforts to research some stocks or related researches.
