Every hot stock of the day have all-in fanboys. GE MSFT AAPL CSCO INTC DELL… Each time fanboys claim would eventually be the largest company ever and will dominate whatever industry they go into.
Well, then I definitely joined the right companies. First PayPal pre-ipo and then Apple pre-iPhone
But I think it really depends on the individual even if you had joined the right company. Some of my ex-coworkers were very successful (like Steve Chen the founder of YouTube). Others, not so much…
.
Right companies give you many options… $$$ and improved career prospect. Most HR guys think if you are working for good companies e.g. MANGMANT, then you’re good. So if you work for a sunset company like INTC, you are
If you work for NVDA, you are ![]()
You are right. One guy did an experiment recently after getting rejected for real experience. Brand names get you more calls. He even included Mia khalifa!
Some1 has to tell Cramer that gross margin of a TSLA car is 90% and not the razor thin margin that everybody believe. As more people realize it, it will continue to go up. TSLA doesn’t need to gain much market share to appreciate, increased realization will do. Anyhoo, I think that gross margin applies to Shanghai factory only, other factories like Fremont, Berlin and Austin should be higher.
This thing is gonna rip.
Monopoly money . Another 52 week high
Is this the real Elon Musk? Since when he knows Chinese? Is he referring to @manch’s attitude towards China?
What does it say/mean?
Saw some interesting tidbit on the most recent Rivian S1:
In January 2021, our board of directors and stockholders approved an equity award to Dr. Scaringe consisting of a time-based option to purchase 6,785,315 shares of our Class A common stock and a performance-based option to purchase up to 20,355,946 shares of our Class A common stock (the “2021 CEO Equity Award”).
…
The four stock price goals are, on a price-per share basis, $110, $150, $220, and $295, in each case as adjusted to reflect the impact of any stock dividends, stock splits, recapitalization or other changes in the corporate structure of the Company. Such stock prices reflect performance-based goals of approximately 5x to 13x increases in our stock price based on the $21.72 exercise price at the time of grant in January 2021.
Reddit comment, didn’t check the math:
$295/share up from the expected $60/share IPO, to give some idea of what the suits in charge of finance think about future potential. That would put the company at a ~$295b valuation (assuming $60/share = $60B valuation).
Rivian 300B vs Tesla 1.2T? That’s RJ’s performance target at least.

Why so eager to cook me?
Background: Emperor wants to kill his smart brother who is very good in poem. He orders him to write a poem talking about brothers without the “brother” word. The poet wrote that poem about his brother emperor is so eager to kill him.
Elon Musk (if it is really him) is saying why we human beings are so eager to destroy each other. Possibly writing about relationship between US and China.
Elon is clearly talking about how humans are killing each other with greenhouse gas emission. They are literally frying the earth and in the process destroying each other.
Not everything is about China.

recent Elon tweet looks like he’s jealous of Mark on metaverse
