I got an email about this and was surprised as well - the message is that Narcan will save you, and you can get test strips before taking your illegal drugs so that we’ll have a culture where you’re careful to test all your drugs before taking them. WTF???
It’s like a condom ad. And in all honesty, just as unsafe. There’s still gonna be “accidents”. Whatever happened to the “the safest [sex | drugs] is not to do it at all. Anything else carries risk.” ?
At this point, we should just legalize and tax it. At least then people would know exactly what they’re getting. It’s basically legal now without the tax revenue and safety of knowing what’s in it.

As seen with the legalization of cannabis, the government’s best intentions have not resulted in the best outcomes. Now, given the State’s track record on cannabis, to suggest legalization and taxation of actual poison? Please. We can do better.
- Strictly enforce anti-camping laws. There are beds out there that the homeless refuse. That means you can enforce the law.
- End “affordable housing” grants, which enable the “homeless industrial complex”, and re-direct these billions to mental health facilities and treatment.
I know Governor Dippidy Do has his CARE’s Courts opening next week, but these cases will be litigated well into the 2030’s before anyone is incarcerated against their will for mental health treatment.

Candlestick park has been empty for 9 years. Developers have basically given up. Let the homeless takeover and build whatever they want. Use burning Man as an example… let the progressives create their own utopia… would be a great social experiment.
