The Homeless Are Frankly Everywhere

Declining since 2020… now about same as in 2017.

“Capitals” are momentum created by Republican California. Since it becomes a blue state, these “dominance” are deteriorating fast. So is not “ever increasing dominant”. Correct wording is “increasingly less dominant”.

So long they don’t shut off immigration… won’t die off so easily… immigration provides the necessary revitalization.

Hasn’t California always been blue. It has been rising for decades in blue.
If red is the secret to success why so many red states are a dump. Blue states in general are much stronger than red, no?

Lol no one will answer this question in a proper way

California is so rich it can afford to pamper its poor .they get free food free needles free medical free counseling free legal free clothes The only problem is the state can’t figure out how to house them. Because the nanny state is incapable of actually building housing. Let alone the fact that checkbook liberals don’t actually want poor people living in their neighborhoods .

.

Not always. Only from 1990s…

Didn’t say that. Secret is immigration.

May I repeat what I have said previously.

The question is how long can immigration compensate for Democrats’ way of a…

I came to CA in early 2000s, life is good. The deterioration started somewhere in 2010s and getting worse. Asians are now randomly shot… tons of homeless, drug addicts, rising crimes… wasn’t like that when I came in early 2000s. How long can the good days started since 1990s last with current deterioration?

That and kids who type on keyboards without getting out and seeing how the world really works. A lady I worked with who had minimal education but was very practical minded cut her teeth climbing the Con-Edison towers back east when she was little. Others diverted themselves “baking cakes” - old slang term for cooking up explosives to blow things up. Today’s kids don’t actually DO anything; they don’t interact with the real world. They don’t build treehouses or buy old junkers and learn how to fix them. They just hunch over keyboards in their bedrooms.

It’s parents fault not kids.

The good old days ended in 1967 in SF. I was there, commuting through the Tenderloin, crappy then as now. The hippie invasion and the tolerance of the drug culture destroyed the old world. SF didn’t recover until 1990… now it’s falling apart again thanks to the homeless drugs crime and the tolerance of the intolerable… 100k decline in population then . It will be similar now,
Just like then sane civilized people and families will move to the suburbs… just like my nephew did two years ago.

Tech is a force of its own that will do what it can to grow and thrive. Schools, infrastructure, COL, tax burden are things the government is responsible for, and those aren’t doing well. It’s very possible that the Bay Area is doing just fine despite the gov’t not because of it. LA is doing fine because of Hollywood. If both these were absent, CA would be a slum lord.

The homeless industrial complex… a bunch of vultures living off the misery of the homeless. And a very powerful lobby entrenched in keeping the homeless in SF…

From 52-88, California voted Democrat for president once. From 92-20, it voted Democrat every time. It’s so lopsided now they call the state before they even start counting votes.

Yes, but we voted for Arnold S. for governor.

That was such an anomaly. It was also on the heels of the Gray Davis recall. You would think California would have learned a lesson after Gray Davis.

Not to mention, Arnold governed like one of the most extreme Democrats we ever had. Shoring up the levies was the only positive thing he accomplished.

California Democrats Want Courts to Let Cities Clear Homeless Camps

Five years after a federal court restricted cities in the West from removing homeless campers, Democratic leaders are blaming judges for the growing number of people living on the streets.

Wow, maybe there is some hope for the party. I think we should start a new program. Everyone that votes for homeless shelters needs to sponsor 1 homeless person by letting the live in their home.

This is in the news today:

"Beyond public spaces, Lee said every person should carry naloxone with them either on their person or in their car, especially if they or their friends use drugs. "

I don’t know whether this person is serious or not when suggesting this. Really? It almost seems like the next step is if someone is OD’ing and you are walking by without narcan you will be held liable for his death. I don’t know what kind of message this sends to the kids. Go ahead and be brave since we’ve got you covered?

We’ve spent decades making it easier and easier to survive. This is the outcome of that.
