The Latest With Our Fav Paradise City, Palo Alto

Interesting. We almost made a offer on this home. I’m sure this is included in eminent domain mentioned in article. I really wanted to make an offer, but we didn’t due to proximity of train tracks.

I heard of eminent domain, but don’t know how it works. Does government take the homes and pay market rate as compensation?

Not sure just compensation means necessarily market rate though…

Location, location, location… (and lucky chinese numbers…)

These articles always show a fundamental misunderstanding of how the market works.

The zip is good, but the specific location sucks!

Welcome back!

Thanks! RE talk is like a drug, hard to give up…

Is the location that bad? Article says close to shopping and stuff…

That’s a pretty major road connecting PA to MP. There are only a few crossings over the creek separating the 2 cities between Alma and 101.

Other than traffic, that location is close to downtown so you get shopping and dining and more. You can bike to MP downtown as well.

Yes, it’s on a very busy street. Lot isn’t deep enough and Middlefield doesn’t have the cachet that University presents.

So, will it sell at or below asking? You do get the separate studio space too to help with the mortgage…:grinning:

Imagine being off of 19th Ave…

Ok, but they ain’t pricing it like it is bad…

It’s cause PA is the fortress. :joy::rofl:
