Do you realize how much they pay in taxes for “free” healthcare? I’ve showed the math for it. The tax bill is way higher than my premium and max out-of-pocket for my current plan.
Those horrible countries where healthcare is “free”, also provide a nice retirement package for employees or people in general. And the people don’t complain of paying higher tax rates. They know the light is at the end of the tunnel, not the republican death panels.
These countries are long away from being bought out by the insurance companies that don’t do anything else than being a middle men without skin on the game.

If Trump is sabotaging it, then why were premiums going up by 25%+ a year before he got elected? Why were insurers dropping out of the program before he got elected?
If I got a bill like that I wouldn’t pay…Let the hospital sue…In court most jurors would reject that claim…Hospitals, doctors and drug companies are thieves and they are ripping us all off. .The problem is unlike most transactions, you can’t negotiate the bill in advance…Hospitals get a blank check and abuse the privilege. …Time to bring out the pitch forks, tar and feathers…Healthcare needs price controls and fairness rules…

The poor already get free healthcare…nobody is turned away from emergency rooms…They just don’t pay their bill. …Declare bankruptcy or just disappear. .The rich don’t care…can afford Cadillac insurance. .The rest of us are subsidizing a system that has run amok…from 9% of GDP to 17% in 20 years…50% of GDP by 2050…maybe then the death panels will be needed…Or maybe price controls will happen first…

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) overpaid $729 million to eligible professionals as part of an incentive program, according to a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General audit released Monday.
CMS had paid out more than $6 billion for their Electronic Health (EHR) Incentive Program to professionals as of June 2014, meaning about 12 percent of the total payments were wrongly paid to those who did not meet requirements.
Hospitals don’t have access to your SSN. some times insurance companies do but they are not allowed to share it with them.
I’m just going to laugh. You just posted how Medicare and Medicaid (which are run by the government) made hundreds of millions in incorrect payments. Yet, you want the government to be in charge of healthcare.
